I'm not a professional dog groomer. I love that you can change out the different brushes and combs and doing so is easy. It came with a card explaining what each brush did. I found a favorite that works best for my dog. The whole set is very sturdy and worked wonders on my "blowing hair" Aussie. She is once again beautiful.

I have a Sproodle and part of the appeal of this silly, precious dog is his ridiculous curly, long hair. It's also a lot of work to have all the different textures of hair, so this brush set is PERFECT as there is a brush for every need and body area! The brush recommendation sheet was especially helpful since I have never seen some of these brushes and didn't know their role in the various stages of brushing! It's super nice to have the tote bag to hold all of them too. My puppers will be getting LOTS of use from the entire set and the interchangeable handle is solid, sturdy and space saving.

I researched all the dif tools spending a lot of time. This is a GREAT value. I have three Persians. I used to use just the wide-toothed comb for thirty years. The wired brush doesn't work as far as I can tell. But all the other tools are awesome. I purchased a separate hook (rake? ) to go with the set. I got two new Persian kittens. My big Persian boy got sick. Consequently the VERY thick and long-haired kittens got HORRIBLY matted. The tools in this kit worked AWESOME. Get the package. You won't find a better bargain and can fill in with one or two other tools if need be.It's also nice that the tools interchange with the handle to take up much less room. You dont' have to put on the handle to use any of them. The tools click on the handle fast and secure. I'm extremely pleased with the quality and deal.

I have two German Shepherds that shed a sweater a day. I’ve tried many different ways to keep the hair down; about 30 different brushes, combs, gloves and even a shop vac.Nothing I’ve purchased before has been so effective, and comfortable to use.I’m actually embarrassed to show pictures after it’s first use, the amount of hair it removed makes it look like I never brushed them before, and I do daily.If you’re looking for an actual tool that can get the job done, you’ve found it.

I went into a big pet store & one tiny brush cost as much as this entire set. The brushes fit well into the handle & lock securely. It is not flimsy. One of the brushes is much better for one of my dogs than what I've been using (the one with rounded-end pins). I'm still in shock. You just don't expect to get something this good for such a good price these days. Really glad I bought it.

Quality assortment of changeable brush heads. There is also a small leaflet explaining what each type is best used for / which order to use the brushs in. The only negative was moveing thw locking toggle over rhe first few time. I'd the side od a spoon to move it back and forth from the locked position a few times. That worked the stiffness out and I can now move it myself. The brush head stay in place.Bought for around $20, this is a great price as an undercoat rack only costs about $20. My dog doesn't seem to mind any of thw brushes, but does give me and a few of the brush head questioning looks. Running those brushes on my own arm, I understand. They don't hurt at all, but it's not a sensation normally encountered.

I wish it had at least two handles. Having to swap handles from one brush to another is a pain. I tend to need to use several brushes at the same time to detangle my two schnauzers, so I ended up using the various tools with out the interchangeable handle. Quality and sturdiness seem to be good so far.

Excellent set. Our dog is 8 months old and his winter coat is coming in -- the brush set makes him handsome and works great. His hocks are filling out and after grooming he seems to be wearing a fine set of Bermuda Shorts. Ladies watch out!
