ZWILLING J.A. Henckels Twin Pro S 8-inch High Carbon Stainless-Steel Chef's Knife with Custom Engraving

Very sharp knife not sure what happen but the tip is bent a tiny bit.

Bought this as a replacement for a block set we bought from bed bath and beyond. The one from the set we bought had the tip break off after 5 years. My wife is what I would describe a step down from a legit chef. Cooks 6 nights a week and everything from scratch. She loves this knife. I'll admit it's an investment but it stays sharp and won't break. I went with German after reading reviews of the Japanese brands breaking.

Great for prep , worth the investment in a quality knife if you cook alot

Very good quality - wicked sharp out of the box, looks durable, nice balance. My Japanese knives are too prone to chipping, so I’m going back to German.

the finish does discolor after a few washes but the blade is so good i don't mind it not looking perfect

The knife fits well on both my husbands hand as well as mine. I got it engraved for just the few bucks more and made it that much more special. I did a lot of research on what kind of knife I wanted to get for my husband and feel like I made the right decision.
