I picked this up to solve a slightly awkward setup, i.e an older graphics card that only has Mini DisplayPort outputs and I just needed a simple, reliable way to hook it up to an HDMI monitor. Happy to say it worked straight out of the box. No fuss, no drivers, just plug-and-play and I had a clean signal immediately. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it’s been completely stable, no flickering, dropouts, or weird resolution issues. Build quality is better than I expected for the price. The aluminium shell feels solid and the connector fits snugly without feeling like it’s going to loosen over time. The cable itself has a bit of stiffness to it, which I actually prefer as it doesn’t flop around behind the PC. I’m running it at 1080p and it looks crisp and accurate, and there’s no noticeable lag. I can’t speak to higher resolutions personally, but for a standard desktop setup it does exactly what it should. Overall, a simple, reliable adapter that just gets on with the job. If you’ve got older hardware with Mini DisplayPort and need HDMI output, this is an easy recommendation.

Having had used Benfei for adaptors before, I decided to buy this for use with a Thinkpad T530 I am in the process of refurbishing. Works like a charm and feels more premium than previous benfei adaptors.

The HDMI lead works fine and the picture quality is good, but it’s a bit too short. Luckily I had another longer cable, so I connected the short one to my laptop and used the longer one to reach the TV through the HDMI connection. Apart from the length, it does the job well.

I bought this because I recently upgraded to a dual monitor setup, both of which need HDMI inputs. My GPU, however, only has 1 HDMI port, already in use for my main monitor. The three remaining were a DVI port, and two mini DisplayPorts. I have a DVI to HDMI adapter which I was using for the second monitor, but for some reason, I had massive connectivity issues using DVI. Even when I used my motherboard's DVI port, the signal would black out for seconds at a time. It was so unusable that I invested in this DVI to HDMI adapter instead, to run the second monitor off my GPU's mini DisplayPort instead. Works perfectly. Nothing more needs to be said. There's zero loss of quality between HDMI and DisplayPort, and the connection is completely stable with no blackouts. The adapter itself is high quality, with a thick wire of good length, and a sturdy casing. Even comes with a shroud to protect the DisplayPort connector. This is a much better adapter than using DVI to HDMI. Highly recommend.

Great quality and well worth the money , never skimp when it comes to HDMI devices and while there are other cheaper options most break or have connection issues while this one was plug and play and had no problem with 4k resolution!

All works well when connecting an old Mac air to the tv.

While traveling, I realized I needed a cable to attach to the HDMI cable for my 2nd monitor (see attached photos). I use a Surface Pro 9 and always carry a second LCD monitor. This cable allows me to use the second monitor. I found the cable connectivity to work seamlessly-monitor lit up the moment I plugged it into the cable. The cable length is good to avoid tangled cable messes. Bottom Line: This cable is very useful for me and works as expected.

De connector ziet en voelt veel 'steviger' aan dan je zou denken. Werkt ook feilloos, perfect alternatief voor veel duurdere opties.
