Cart Assembly
It was so easy to put together. I did not have a wooden mallet, at foot long piece of 2 by 4 would do fine to install the legs. The instructions said to use the mallet to install the caster, don't do it, it could cause wheel damage. just use hand pressure and they pop right in. The price is great for this workhorse. This cart only had 2 shelves, it's plenty for transporting heavy stuff around that you don't want to carry.

A nice cart for the priice
While shopping for a cart I was surprised at how expensive carts are. This one was exactly the size I needed and the price looked a lot more reasonable than most others. After I ordered it, it arrived very quickly. As I assembled it I discovered the legs were much longer than I needed and made the cart way too tall. So I measured to determine how long they needed to be to make the cart the height I needed and just sawed them all to that length and finished assembling the cart. It is perfect for my purposes. The only real problem I had assembling the cart was that when I inserted each leg into either the top or bottom sockets (I can't remember which) they were VERY tight and I debated returning the cart because they seemed to not fit. But a got a bigger hammer and a section of 2x4 to protect the plastic from my beating on it. With enough persuasion it went together. I guarantee it will stay together. A good cart.

Excellent product
I had bought one of these for the food pantry where I volunteer. It is so sturdy, and it rolls so easy, that we bought this 2nd one, so we now have two. They are great for carrying large loads of food from one area to another, or lots of small things (too many to carry).Assembling it was easy. I needed a hammer, and a piece of wood (like a piece of a 2 x 4), to put between the hammer and the legs as I was pushing the legs in, so I didn't hit directly on the legs.I highly recommend this cart.

Luxor/H.Wilson 2-3/4-Inch Deep Tub Shelf Utility Cart
I bought this thinking the legs would be bolted on, it wasn't but once I put it together it looked fairly sturdy. I have a 58 pound VP 112 Vac Master, vacuum sealer on top of it and was worried it was going to end up on the ground so I wanted a good sturdy cart. The castors on this are outstanding 4 inch casters two with brakes though i never use them for my application. The bottom shelf when full, I have approximately ninety pounds of food storage bags on it, (Yep I got carried away when ordering bags Oops missed a zero on the quantity I thought I was ordering a 100 not a 1000 each). The lip on the bottom helps a lot to contain those boxes of bags I had no other place to put them. The legs hammer into recess points on the bottom and the top. You need a hammer but use the flat or a small board as a barrier or you will damage the tubes.Follow the instructions as far as inserting the tubes. Those tubes once in their recess don't come out very easily (I know from experience I am a typical man I never take the instructions out and read them until I find out later I should have).I like the handle on this cart one of the reasons purchased it. Makes it easy to roll around. My wife had this problem with my brand new semi commercial vacuum sealer filling up her kitchen counter so I was DIRECTED to order something to get it off her counter top. No since of humor but what the heck it works a lot better this way and it now blocks the entrance to the dinning room. (We never use it anyway).I would definitely buy another if the weight was right. Remember carts with heavy loads on top and none on bottom can flip over if you roll it over a bump "like a door seal". (yes I have done that too, but thankfully it had my wife's stuff on it not mine). Good luck and enjoy what every you end up with.

Love cart but need rubber mallet...
For other girls putting this together... it is hard to get the posts in.. you have to really hammer them in if you don't have gorilla strength.. I did not have a rubber mallet so I used a thin paper back book to hammer on top of it.. but you really have to hammer to get the wheels to pop into place.. as a tip.. once I got it all together.. turn it upside down, casters up.. and hammer all 4 corners pretty well.. checking to see that it is level - or all casters and posts are all the way into the respective holes. then I turned it right side up and hammered all 4 corners again.. it seems very sturdy. I used it to load heavy bags of deer corn and birdseed.. but only 2 at a time on top. I then used it to unload groceries.. awesome! It was a real trip saver with heavy boxes of dog food (I have 5 dogs)... oh be sure to hit the brake before trying to load anything heavy on top or the stupid thing will roll away from you.. (I know what you guys are thinking!!!)4/2015 I have had this cart for a little over a year and it is still going strong, with no problems. This has got to be the best thing I have ever bought for its usefullness.. I even use it to move heavy laundry baskets from one end of the house to the other... and it is very light weight. I have taken it to functions at church, nursing home, etc.. when I have to unload a lot of stuff and it just rolls right along...

Great buy!
I put my heat press on top and supplies on bottom cart. It is great to be able to move my equipment around easily when needed. I was impressed.

neat little cart!
I am in the AV business and have pushed Luxor carts forever - maybe since 1971. I currently have a mixer/compressor/ eq unit that weighs 45 us pounds on top and a amp in a flight case that weighs about 50 us pounds on the bottom shelf.I assembled the cart in less that a minute. Hints: WD 40 the inside of the pipes where they connect to shelf nibs and it will go together fast with some patient shoving. I dont like using rubber mallets. The wheels slowed me down by about ten seconds - tap them in place with a light duty hammer.Depending on your use: if this cart will live in a building or you have a decent sized vehicle you wont have to take it apart. If it will travel and will need to be disassembled be careful, the tubes will crack. However this is not Luxors intended ops for this cart - its intended to be in one piece forever I'm sure. I like to save space when I load in/out for remote gigs and the cart can be disassembled for road use shipping but the tubes can and will crack.
