Some what costly but working good. We can get the desired voltage by adjusting potentiometer. But can handle 1.5amps current

12V DC to 5V DC
The buck converter I have used like this aise mobile charger 12 volt dc to 5 volt in solar wiring ( there is no AC current in it, we are using DC only from the solar tubular battery).It's worked
