Great quality sturdy comfortable

Arrived in one large box the chair is like any other recliner it comes in two parts that just slide together with no problem. The chair is small bordering on very small it looks well made and comfortable the fake leather material looks OK.At this price point I would assume it would be for casual use only. I recently bought a duel motor rise recliner which is on the large size so I needed a small chair to fit along side it this one fitted the bill exactly the reviews are on the favourable side and at this price if it lasts a few years I’ll be more than happy. Jobs a good-un!

I’m quite impressed with this recliner. I had to choose one which wasn’t too heavy as it was going upstairs, and it needed to fit through a door that had no angle to manoeuvre through. The chair came in two parts and was very easy to assemble. Pros: Excellent price, comfortable, cool as it was faux leather, stable fully reclined position, and I can sleep in it Cons: There are really only two fixed positions (fully reclined and upright), however if you are fairly still you can still sit lie in intermediate positions. When reclining, the leg rest has a fairly strong action when using the release catch, so I now put my legs against the leg rest to slow the release. The leg rest, when putting back into the upright position is hard to engage if your calves aren’t strong. It’s ok for me as I can push it back then ‘heel’ it to engage the latch

Chair very narrow not much padding on arms arms to narrow to rest on very uncomfortable would sujest it was made for a child am looking for a replacement you get what you pay for

This chair has been in daily use by a small adult for about a month and so far there’s been no deterioration or any problems. The cover/stitching hasn’t split and no signs of wear. Of course neither should there be after such a short time but given the price of the item I half expected that it would quickly develop issues or arrive damaged. Item was well packed but not over-packaged. It’s very compact and looks smart, unlike traditional recliners which are bulky with that ‘care home furnishing’ style. Wipes clean easily. The cover creaks a bit when moving about or raising/lowering the extension, but leather does too. Firm but not hard and gives good support without the need for any cushions. The measurements given are accurate. It comes in two pieces; the back needs to be positioned so that the metal slots on both sections line up and it will slide into place with a slight push. A bit fiddly but not too bad. Note that the brown version is very much darker than the picture which shows a reddish tone. This happens to work well with the room decor here and is much preferred, but if the reddish look is what you want it might not do. The only niggle is that the handle to raise the extension is on the right, so left-handers might be inconvenienced and it needs a good firm pull - difficult for those with hand mobility. The extension springs up fast so be prepared. It’s important also to fold the extension down (force it with your legs) when getting out of the chair rather than trying to shift forward and stand up from the side of the chair - it will tip forward and hit the floor, which is perhaps to be expected. Those who need to exit the chair from this position will need to add weights to the rear of the frame. Those caveats aside and assuming it doesn’t fall to bits in the near future, this is an excellent purchase and is highly recommended.
