 edit of original review :- (worked for the first week, although I did have problems getting it to work and now it just stopped all together, I requested a replacement but it has been over a month now and still haven't received it, I ended up having to just throw the broken one in the bin)Ive used this scooter for a week now, so far I have done a few shopping trips and commutes to work.I live in Sheffield so it is kind of suburban with lots of hills, but I did get a chance to try it in the city too, which it is primarily made for.The scooter is just the right speed, not too fast that it's dangerous but fast enough to get you from A to B. My commute to work which would usually take me half an hour walking and in the car during rush hour only took 9 minutes with this.One thing I found is that it really struggles up big hills even on the 3rd gear to the point that you have to get off and push it but I kinda expected it considering the size of the motor.Down hill on the other hand is great the brake in the motor really helps you to go at a steady pace and you have the back foot brake incase you need to do an emergency stop which is great.It is really easy to put together out of the box but I ran into a problem when I first got it, it wouldn't switch on and I thought I had a defective unit, I realised through trial and error that because the motor hadn't been used before and it needed a bit of a boost to get it started, so I let the wheel roll for a bit and the power started to come on, after that I got the red light to come on, on the power plug and I left it until I went green, from then it worked like a charm.From my testing it seems to do about 5 miles on a full charge which might not seem like a lot but it charges really quickly, I managed to get it all of the way back up in just a couple of hours I also noticed that it seems to recharge itself a little when going downhill.Overall this is an amazing scooter and is a great competitor to the other brands on the market with it's modern design light weight portability and quick charging capabilities.The included bag is also really handy if you want to take it in the car or bring it on holiday.And the light on the front is really handy considering how early it is getting dark this time of year.

I didn't look into the reviews for this properly, but once I got to Amazon DE, I realised there are a lot of people complaining the scooter is faulty - mainly battery or electric issues and loads of 1 stars.I requested a return and was asked to send the scooter back at my own cost which might or might not be refunded, according to their decision.The scooter doesn't switch on a week after I got it and it was used once. Terrible product.

I had high hopes for this scooter, I really did, the first time I used it, it was great, no problems, I charged it when it ran out of battery, when I went to use it today it was fine for about 2 mins then started playing up, not holding a charge, kept dying and turning off, not accelerating, I tried using a different charger and still no difference even though it was charged for a few hours.Would give 0 stars if I could, overall a big shame
