Don't be mislead by the graphic accompanying this ad. The shortening does not come in individual containers. 1 per case means that you get a 33 lbs cube of shortening in one plastic bag stuffed in a box.

Spectrum palm shortening is lovely for baking. It makes flaky pie crust and biscuits plus it makes nice deep fried food. All this without trans fats.It looks like Crisco. I've never cooked with Crisco so I don't know how it compares. I made emergency can candles out of Crisco so I know what it looks and feels like.This is one of the least expensive organic palm shortenings I found online. It's about $3.50 a pound (including shipping).I bought a 5 gallon food grade bucket & lid at Lowes because this came in a large plastic bag shipped in a cardboard box.I wouldn't order this in the summer. I'd be afraid it'd arrive melted and messy. I don't know this to be true from experience but there is a warning about it being nonrefundable if damaged by heat.It's a little too pricy for my use and I won't be ordering it again.I hope palm shortening becomes popular. If there's a big enough demand the price and availability will improve. I would buy it if it were cheaper. I really like it.

Sorprendida del empaque del producto. Estaba muy bien protegido con tres cajas y una bolsa plástica gruesa sin ningún agujero. Estaba nerviosa por lo que pudiera encontrar ya q vivo en el caribe pero llegó con una excelente textura, color y sabor lo que me dejo muy satisfecha. Soy vegana y solo uso spectrum para la repostería y fue una buena inversión por la cantidad y el precio. Lo dividí en envases y tiene las 33 libras que representarían 22 envases de 24 onzas. Solo espero que el clima no me lo derrita. Altamente recomendable.

I love this stuff. It's pretty expensive but you can't find it much cheaper anywhere else online. I use a lot of it in all my baking, so it's worth it to me.

The palm shortening came in a plastic bag in a box. I divided it up into containers. The quality is excellent.

We love this product. It's the only shortening we use, as it is made with Palm Fruit Oil. Glad they have the 33lb sizes for our bakery.
