I was a bit concerned with some of the negative reviews on this product, with comments that the screws were missing or did not fit. My experience was very positive. I used 2 of them to get 2 cables (HDMI and Ethernet) from one room to an adjacent room. All parts were included in the package. It includes a template which has a sticker on it - you stick the template on the wall in the location where you want to install the outlet (locate the studs before you do that), and you draw around the template with a pencil. You then use a saw (I have an oscillating tool) to cut and remove the drywall. You insert the black mounting bracket and secure it in place with 2 screws -- do not over-tighten as you might break the plastic. The decorative plate is attached to the brush part, so you first remove the 2 small screws on the decorative plate to separate it from the brush part. There are 2 longer screws in the package. You use them to attach the brush part to the mounting bracket. If you are a perfectionist, you can use a level to make sure the brush part is vertical. You then re-attach the decorative plate to the brush part with the 2 small screws. Installation was really a breeze and the fit looks secure. Do not over-tighten any screw as you may break something, but that is true of any item like this. The price is a bit high for something like this, but it was still 30% cheaper than what I could find at my Home Improvement Store. I highly recommend this product.

Works great. A "10-minute job" that actually took less than 10 minutes.Strong/stiff bristles. Great if have more than one connection to pass through a wall.Much cheaper than the big box stores, and you get two!

Does exactly what it’s meant for and does it well. Super easy to install. I was concerned the brushes wouldn’t overlap, but they do, so you get a nice good seal.We have shiplap in part of the room, so for one of these I left part of the top of shiplap in tact so I could drill a starter hole and screw the black bracket in rather than attach it with the built-in flaps. Worked out great.

Make sure hole is not bigger then template when you tighten the screws it pulls into the wall

I had a contractor installed the wall plates for my wall mounted flat screen almost 2 yrs ago. It was done (according to them) using behind the wall HDMI cable, then separate HDMI cables to connect the TV and Receivers. Well, recently picture quality issues and to the point where it just went black !!Well, it turned out to be the poor contacts of HDMI wall plates. To solve this problem I bought a good quality 20' HDMI cable to connect receiver directly yo TV by running/hiding it behind the wall.When installing this mounting bracket and brush wall plate, I can see how badly the contractor did his work (untidy and left lots of dry wall dust over the exposed part of the old HDMI connector wall plate. Worse, it was loosely screwed directly to dry wall.It is no more the problem. Mounting bracket makes sure all is firmly clamped to the dry wall. The opening allows me to vacuum all the dry wall dust out. The brush face plate can be screwed firmly to the the wall mount bracket. . . . All went perfectly well for me.

I have a home theater - it's actually a bedroom that's been converted to a theater with tiered seating and a 120 inch screen for the projector. It's pretty sweet and I thank the previous owner of my house for spending all that money on it.The room has what used to be a walk-in closet and that's where all the equipment resides. But, the previous owner sort of got cheap and rather than running the speaker wires and the HDMI cable through the wall they just ran them under the door. Problem is you then can't close the door all the time. Not a big deal but it really bugged me.I got this and cut drywall out of either side of the wall . I'm reasonably handy so I wasn't intimidated and it went fine. The kit comes with everything you need and the finished product looks good.I pushed through 10 speaker wires and a HDMI cable. There's room for maybe another wire or two but it's about at capacity.

Easy to install and a good price. Anyone can do this with the right tools cut the drywall. Took about 10 mins to cut both and install.

These are easy to use, and they even include a template for the cut out.
