I was looking for a cheap and durable tablet for my parents as they need such device for shor-term camping with internet access. In this case, only Android tablet with sim card slot can meet all my requirements. Actually I chose this 4G tablet randomly as there were so many similar items tho. I tried the 4G module instantly when received. Surprisingly, it can not only access the 4G network but also the 2G phone call and SMS service! I have never ever seen a 4G tablet can make phone call.After a few days use, I can tell the battery is good, screen is good but slightly low resolution (it came with screen protection), virtual click is good, ram is OK, and the size is perfect!A few things noticeable: 1. the sim card slot does not support hot plugging, you have to power it off then insert the card every time; 2. you would not expect a compatible cover with such small brand product; 3. the default Android system comes with dual sim setting while the 4G tablet only support one sim card.Nice gift for my parents in this warm Christmas!

So farI am reserving judgement!! The phablet was delivered next day as one would expect with Prime, but it is very confusing - the number on the box is not the same as on the Order or on the user manual inside so I had to check with Amazon that I had been sent out the right item. Next problem - the user manual is designed for a fairy to read - the font is miniscule & the only way I could access it was to photograph each page, put it on the computer & then enlarge it, still not at all satisfactory! Next having charged it, where were the slots for the SIM & memory card? NO mention in the user manual but a call to Amazon determined that the end white plastic has to be slipped off. Not easily done with arthritic fingers and only after going down to the computer shop did I discover that there is a tiny slot to put a nail in to ease it off. So getting there slowly . . . . I bought it so I could use it for phonecalls when I'm away rather than have tablet and mobile with me. If I'm happy once I've got it all set up, I'll write more.

The worrying thing with this tab is that it has imes and upgradesys builtin which is a bad sign due to it is a trojan horse programme this is my second one due screen cracking and only just found out about this problem running in back ground and thus far can not be removed. This tab also has screen issues i.e the square button seems to press on its own and bring up past windows and home button now seems to not open when locking screen. Guess there is reason price has come down of late

Not happy at all with this tablet. Only got ot because of the good reviews. The tough screen is useless.. keep pressing and pressing and it won't work. It wont let me go into settings to connect to the internet.. so with out internet connection this tablet is useless.. waste of money.

I bought this tablet to use with Sky demon software as a navigation tool in light aircraft.For the price this is a great piece of kit. Have yet to do extensive tests in the aircraft but first impressions are great.Same size as Ipad mini which costs about 5 times more!Superb value and fast delivery.Update after use in aircraft. Worked perfectly on xcountry flight with good gps signal throughout flight.

I wanted a tablet that was independent of a Wireless connection. I travel a fair bit within Europe. Got this and a £10 Tesco p a y g sim and I get 6Gb data roaming anywhere in EU. Great little tablet. Well made and superb value. Later addition... Only problem is that it refuses to roam. Only works on Internet. Amazon won't let me return it.

Ridiculously small print in manual.Had to go to Carphone Warehouse to find out how to open the access to sim cards. Very stiff latch.Sim and memory cards installed and everything works.With the above two caveats highly recommended

It works.It’s not very fast and feels like it’s very cheaply made. The signal when you insert a sim card - is pretty poor in places where my other tablet never loses signal - it often freezes up with only one application installed-But it works, what more can I say.
