COUNTERFEIT/FAKE
These are cheaply manufacturered lower amp relays with fake fostek stickers applied to them. They failed and stuck open the first time they were used and caused a runaway out of control process condition. Do not buy. 0 stars. I cant return, or even file a claim with amazon because I didn't use them until 4 months after they arrived.

WARNING! not 40A
these solid state relays utilize the ST BTA24 triac which according to the datasheet from the manufacture are only rated for a constant 25A of RMS current.

Fakes. Only rated at 25A.
Cheap fakes. Opened one up only to find that the relay is only rated for 25A. Returning as this is a fire harzard if exceeded that limit.

Can not handle rated amperage.
Worked for one cycle and now does not turn back off. Used a 12v supply to turn on and ran a 18 amp load and it failed in the on position immediately. Do not buy these for higher amps they can not handle the amperage.

KNOCK-OFFS FAKE... will not work
Ordered to replace a Crydom SSR (25amp) that was controlling a 12 amp motor... at the low cost and with labels incorrect for Fotek I figured they were knock-offs . I had read that the knock-off usually had under rated triacs, so I ordered 40amp figuring that it should handle a 12 amp load... WRONG, I had ordered two and each failed on the first use.

If you need two, make sure order qty is 2
Not such a good deal considering that he price is actually for one SSR, not two. I had to place another order to get the SSRs I needed (from different seller of course)

Used in my infrared sauna
After years of my infrared sauna not working, I finally ordered these relays on Amazon to fix it. I had an electrician install them and check everything out, and they worked great.
