It does what it is suppose to do
I bought the Canon G16 because I wanted a camera small enough to keep with me at all times without losing the functionality of my big DSLR. And if I was going to keep it with me, it would have to live in my purse and suffer all the punishment that would mean. So I needed something very protective. Hot Pink would not have been my first choice but it was cheaper than the brown or black and I was feeling adventurous! I like the protection I get from the case. I feel that it is adequate to protect my camera against the bumps and bangs that it gets from being in my purse. Be aware that you have to remove the case to change the battery and card but it goes on and off very easily and has not been a problem at all to work with at all.
