EASY TO INSTALL
THIS REPLACEMENT PEEPHOLE IS A GREAT VALUE. IT WAS VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND PROVIDES A CLEAR & WIDE VIEW OF MY FRONT DOORSTEP AREA. I ALSO LIKE THAT IT HAS A SMALL COVER WHICH LOOKS NICE FROM THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR. WISH I WOULDVE BOUGHT THIS SOONER. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

Nice optics; no installation instructions
Solidly built, with good quality optics. Ours came without installation instructions. A 5/8” drill is required. Look for a YouTube or alternatively HomeDepot, which has good, detailed instructions. This is a simple<install, but you’ll want to get it right the first time, especially if drilling a hole through your beautiful front door!

DO NOT TAKE APART LENS ASSEMBLY
Installs easy enough in a 1/2 inch hole. You may need to bore out the hole a little extra with the drill to get a loose fit. It should fit loosely - do not wedge it. Oh and do not, under any circumstances, unscrew the lens assembly. This is the metal collar that goes to the outside of the door. I accidentally unscrewed the collar when trying to remove it from the door (see previous note about making sure it's a loose fit) and all the king's horses and all the king's men could not put this part together again. I have to order a replacement because of my blunder. Learn from me, don't remove the lens cap. Picture attached to satisfy your curiosity.

Great little peephole for the price!
It’s cute! It works! And it was cheap! Regardless the viewing quality is perfect!

Easy to install
We have a foam-core metal door. I had to buy a new bit to drill the hole, but otherwise this is extremely easy to install. Works great and looks good.
