Easypill Cat Putty - 4 X 10 Gram Individually Wrapped Pill Pockets For Cats

Genuinely brilliant. My cat needs daily medication and if you're used to making "purritos" and still risking your fingers every time (and the occasional trip to a human vet for antibiotics for your infected cat bites) this is a revelation. It is obviously wildly expensive for the amount you get, but actually the thinner the layer you put around the tablet the better it works, so the cat isn't tempted to chew the treat (at which point they can notice the pill and spit it out), so a single pack can last for ages, as long as you keep the pack well sealed with a bag clip or double layered packaging. I have had a couple of batches that have been quite dry and difficult to wrap around the tablets, unfortunately, but most are fine. It also smells so strong you need to wash your hands a few times after wrapping pills or handling them wrapped in the putty before you get rid of the smell. For this reason I make a week up at a time and keep them in a pill dispenser (out of the reach of the cat who would eat her body weight in this stuff given the chance). The cat currently on daily meds is very very far from the brightest one I've ever had but she can now tell the time well enough to know to come and bug me for her special daily "treat"! If only there was a way of using it for liquids.

I bought this product out of despair after fighting for years with our cats to give them their monthly worming tablets (they don’t like the neck drops either so it’s rather problematic). I had very low expectations having tried other tricks before. Thought it might work well on our greedy cat who’s the cutest (very objectively of course) but not the smartest; and that it probably wouldn’t work with our little one who is quite clever and not so bothered about food. Well I was completely wrong. It’s working like a charm with the little one, but our other cat will not touch it, she knows what’s inside and will not go near it! Over all really happy though, it has solved half of our problem. We snap the tablet into two and hide each half in a little ball of the stuff (dark thick paste). One 10g sachet lasts two months as we only use half of it for the two half tablets. Hope this review is helpful to other cat lovers. I’d say it’s worth a try even If you think your cat is too smart; we were very surprised to have guessed completely wrong what may happen.

This product is really helpfull and has taken out much of the stress out of giving medication. The cat absolutely loves the taste of it and reacts like it’s a treat, although towards the end of the medication course we struggled a little , but overall well worth the investment and giving it a try.

3rd purchase of this amazing stuff - takes all the stress out of having to give my cat his daily steroid - each pack has lasted around 2 months 🐈‍⬛😊

My cat has to have a lot of tablets and so pill pockets such as these are essentialThe downside to this product is it's expensive for just 4 packets and I would be OK with that if the product was consistent in its quality. I'm buying a pack a week and each one is a different texture. Some are soft and easy to work with, others are hard. It's quite frustrating as when they are soft they are perfect.

This is excellent. One of my cats is on tablets for life and no problem whereas before it was a fight. Expensive but worth it.

Really pleased with this product, my cat isn't the most willing when it comes to medication. I've tried hiding it in all sorts of treats, food etc but she's a clever girl and always eats around it.However, this putty has changed the game! We're only three days in, but there's been no hesitation with taking this 'special treat'. The product has a strong smell which definitely does the trick of disguising the bitter smell and taste of the pills!Extremely happy, I want my girl to have her daily meds in the least distressing manner possible. This is absolutely perfect, she enjoys having it. They are relatively small however, but a price I'm happy to pay for how effective it is! I reckon with this pack of 4 I can probably get a month (minimum) to 6 weeks of meds in her.I don't usually leave reviews, but I was so pleased when she took it first time with no issue! Could have cried with relief.Tip: Avoid touching the putty with the hand you touched the pill with! Even better, use tweezers to place the pill onto the putty and use clean fingers to mold around it. (This avoids leaving any traces of the pills scent and taste on the outside of the putty!)
