Good clamps
Sturdy and work well. I use them on 3/4” hose on barbed fittings. Have >500 gal/hr moving through it with a bit of back pressure due to nozzles used.

Excellent grip
Used this clamp on an air hose for my car worked like a charm. I put ample amount of strength with my pliers thinking it would snap closed up nice did the trick. Let me give it a couple of months and I will re-evaluate.

Heavy duty
These are good heavy duty clamps that are very easy to apply, using pliers. Rust resistant and will last for ever on hose repairs. Price is a little high for what they are, I guess you pay for the concept, not for the production cost.

Poor Product Description
I must agree with the other one star review stating a minimum and maximum outer diameter hose size absolutely should be stated in the product description. The ad description that was presented to me simply stated this to be a one inch hose clamp. No other sizing related information regarding either the I.D. or the O.D. of the hose to be involved was in the information. As the ad claims these are made in the "USA/UK" whenever a one inch hose is referred to in the USA it means a one inch INSIDE hose diameter, not a one inch outside diameter! i.e. A "1 inch barb fitting" fits a one inch I.D. hose. These "1" Heavy Duty Double Gripping Nylon Hose Clamps" have to be used on 3/4 inch I.D. hose, not 1 inch I.D. hose. Even then, because no minimum or maximum range is given, you are taking a chance of a poor fit.

Determining sizes difficult...
Quality appears decent but... I ordered these a little oversized due to some of the confusing product reviews & lack of info from the seller/manufacturer. What a MISTAKE! I needed these for my garden hoses to be able to splice them together when they split or crack. The 1" will NOT fit on a garden hose (~.875 diameter)! The working diameter for the 1" is ~.95 to ~1.07 diameter. The seller/manufacture NEEDS to put a MINIMUM & MAXIMUM 'working diameter' in size description. At $12 and change not worth sending back. Might be able to use a piece of bicycle tubing to adapt or will just throw them in a box and go down to Home Depot or Lowes for what I need! Also, seller/manufacturer should offer a mixed bag of these (i.e. 2 each at .75 thru 1.125 or something similar) for those folks who might need different sizes for desired fit. But that's probably asking way too much!
