TYR Adult Wrinkle Free Silicone Swim Cap for Drag Reduction and Hair Protection

After purchasing my last silicone cap from Speedo which was way too tight/small, I decided to try TYR. It fits much better and the cap is thicker. Will continue to purchase unless it rips quickly.

This actually works, and easy to use, but I used it on a kindergartner with natural braided hair and beads. It doesn’t stretch much, so probably too tight on an adult with hair. It’s pretty tight and small. It did pull on the hair, but once it was on it was comfortable and, no complaints. Plus plenty of room for goggles to fit on the face.

Overall, I highly recommend this non-stretchable swimming cap to anyone looking for a high-quality, durable, and snug-fitting cap that offers excellent protection for their hair while swimming.

I switched to this TYR silicone cap after getting tired of replacing cheap latex caps, and it’s been a clear upgrade. I use it for lap training up to 5 times a week, and it’s held up to that kind of regular use without any signs of wear — no thinning, no tears, no dulling of the color even after several months. Fit-wise, it’s snug enough to stay put for a full hour of swimming without slipping or riding up, but it doesn’t feel like it’s clamping down on my head the way some silicone caps do. I can put it on and basically forget about it for the rest of the session. The silicone itself feels sturdier and more substantial than latex — it doesn’t stretch out over time the way latex does, which is probably why the fit has stayed so consistent. If you’re swimming regularly and tired of latex caps degrading fast, this is a solid, low-maintenance option.

It fits well. It kept the top of my head and hair covered. I did have to keep pulling it down because it wouldn't stay down but it was enough to go swimming for a hour and that's what I wanted.

This cap is way too sturdy.. it slips off pretty consistently.

Best cap I've ever worn. Very stretchable and covered my curly mop easily.

This is the second time I purchased this item. The first one fit perfectly. lasted longer than a year, so i was pretty happy with it. It eventually broke, so I decided to replace with the same. The second one is uncomfortably tight on my head.

Solid and thick, covers the ears well and stays put. Comfortable, no snag. Great colour (yellow), high visibility for open water swimming.

This is a good quality swimming cap and once can go in for it without hesitation.
