Hunter Safety System Pro-Series Lightweight Low Profile Safety Harness

Very comfortable! Fits true to size. I am 6’0” 220lbs and still have a good bit of room with XL size. Not a big fan of the way the suspension relief strap attaches to the tree strap... it requires removing the tree strap every time in and out. Using a heavy duty carabiner clip makes it much easier, and cuts the buckle noise out all together.All the pockets are useful and deep so no worries about dropping anything. Haven’t used the USB port yet but nice to know it’s there

Great harness. Fits good and I'm big guy that wears a snug 2x. Barely meet the weight limit. This is a must have for me now and the first time I've used a hang-on tree stand with climbing sticks. The lineman's belt and tree strap are great and you have to practice to get good at climbing in general. The pockets are awesome and so useful as well as the hooks for range finder and other attachments. Harvested a deer while feeling safe and comfy. I've used the deer drag twice and it's awesome also. Great product from hss and I'll be supporting them from now on.

i received the package very quickly, as usual. The product seems fine but:1/ the size is tricky, being 175 pounds i went for the small-medium. I figured better tight than too lose for safety purposes. Well in "civilian" clothes it fits, but very tight. With hunting close on there is no way to even attach the buckles, so watch out for the size, when in doubt, get the bigger one.About to return it, seems easy enough.2/ the phone charger seems like a waste of space, you have to plug a usb, which means you still need some sort of charger/converter/cable... might as well have a battery charger with you as i always do, but that feature just seems to take up space in one pocket and probably wouldn't fare well in rain. Not a problem, just a useless feature.Other than that it looks like a great harness

Looks great and seems nice quality. But fit is terrible for me. I’m 6’0, 195. I bought the L/XL. And it was a sloppy fit. I’m not gonna hefty cinch sack the thing until it fits me. The sizing on these suck since there is no middle ground. Back it went. I ended up buying also a Muddy Safeguard, and a Summit Pro. Kept the Summit, sent back the rest.

One of the most important parts of the harness the tether, wasn't stitched closed, no loop to hook to tree strap or carabiner. Photo from the Hunter Safety System video is what tether is suppose to look like. It's already bow season and now I have to return this item and hopefully the replacement item is complete and safe to use . Very disappointing considering this is an inspected safety device.

I like this vest system, and it is well thought out. They claim it is now lighter....it is not. It is made from a soft quiet material with a good assortment of storage pockets. Side note: it used to come with the rope attachment (tree) and it should still. The tether that goes to the tree is now made from a much smaller seat belt material but I am sure that it is safety rated to stop a fall.

So I am diligent when it comes to safety. I replace my fall harness every 5 years per the manufacturers recommendations. I just received this harness. It was manufactured in 03/20. So I only get 4 years out of it, not 5. Getting 80% of what I paid for. Will likely return it and hope for something made in 2021.

It is very easy to put on and take off. The straps are very rugged and the connectors are solid metal, not some cheap plastic. I love the many pockets and the built-in phone charging cable, to use with an external battery pack, is a very nice touch for those that want some connectivity (or just GPS support) while in the woods.
