I love the Xcentz Lightning cable. The cable and the connectors are heavy duty and should serve me for many years to come. I've had problems with the typical cables I've used in the past - I would plug in my phone at night to charge it and in the morning would find that my phone hadn't charged at all because there was a short in the cable or some other problem with the cable. I have never had that problem with this cable. The six foot length is versatile enough to meet most of my needs and the cable comes with a velcro tie so that I can coil up the cable and make it shorter without having a cable mess. I especially like the unique color of the cable - unfortunately in my bedroom I have cables for computers, clocks, lamps, radios, battery packs, etc. and almost all of them are black or white. Since this cable is a nice baby blue color it is easy for me to pick it from among the many other cables on the floor, even in dim lighting. There certainly are less expensive cables out there but I don't think that there is a better one, and since this cable should last at least five times longer than the cheaper cables this one ends up saving me lots of money and frustration.

Like most of us, I have purchased my share of inexpensive (and expensive) charging cables that didn't last more than a few months. The Xcentz Lightning cables are unlike any of the other cables I've purchased. They look like they are built to last, with heavy braided cords and solid, quality connectors. Even the packaging is fancy (though a bit excessive), much like anything purchased from Apple. I like them so much that I've bought six of them so that I can leave in different places around the house, car, and travel pouch (where I routinely coil the cables). I had an issue with one of them, where it no longer worked with my iPhone X. I emailed Xcentz and they sent out a replacement right away. I subsequently found out that cable works with my wife's iPhone X, but not mine, so there perhaps there is a slight tolerance issue with either the cable, or more likely, with my iPhone (I often have to clean out the Lightning jack due to debris build-up). The other Xcentz cables all work fine. While somewhat more expensive than the cheapest cables out there, the Xcentz longevity and service make it a great value. The longevity is especially important as I wouldn't want to have a cable fail while on the road.

We have a lot of Apple products in our home and thus we need a lot of lightning cables. I bought the Xcentz iPhone Charger because I saw it on Amazon Lightning Deals and we needed a few extra lightning cables. It had a unique color and a reasonable price so I decided to give it a try. It has worked great!The cable is a braided nylon cover that is an appealing aqua blue color (please see the attached picture). It is a legitimate 6' in length. It fits all of our Apple devices ... no issues with compatibility.When I rate lightning cables there are two key criteria for me (1) does it get hot; and, (2) do to the connecters come loose. I have had cables that got hot when plugged in ... and proceeded to melt or scorch. Not only is that bad for your devices ... it can cause a fire. I have also had issue with lightning cables coming apart ... particularly the connector bending or breaking. I am pleased to report that the Xcentz iPhone Charger fully satisfies me on both of these key metrics. I have been using this cable for months now ... no heat ... no loose connectors.I am very pleased with my purchase of the Xcentz iPhone Charger. Five stars.

This charger is by far the best iPhone charger I have had, and it would scare you how many cords I have bought since my first iPhone in 2011. I found this one after my last apple charger (that came with my iPhone X that I got in April of 18' broke, it only lasted about 3 months), this one had good reviews and the blue is very pretty plus it was half the price of the apple charger. I have been SOOOO happy with this charger, the design is great, its durable. I am the person who just grabs their phone and forgets the charger is attached, this charger has held up AMAZING. Not even a sign that it might be breaking or coming apart and I have had it for over 6 months (which could easily be a personal record for me and iPhone chargers). I just bought a red one for my boyfriend who's apple charger randomly quit on him and bought a replacement for my last apple charger that just died in my car! I literally send this link to everyone when they say their charger broke!!

So far very happy with this charging cable. It works well. It's pretty long. It seems sturdy. It charges my iphone well. UPDATE: Bumped it down to 4 stars because after it working great for a month with no issues, it suddenly stopped working. Not sure why this happened as I really do think this is a well built charging cable. I do have to admit that I use charging cables A LOT so it's seen some heavy usage over the past month. Charging cables don't normally last too long for me but I still would have expected a couple more months usage out of this one. My daughter has had this cable several more months than mine and hers is still working great. If you are a heavy user of charging cables like me, you might want to have a spare on hand just in case.

Edit*** I just got a package from amazon, which I was not expecting, and it turned out to be a replacement cord! It has only been about a week, and I didn’t have to jump through any hoops or even message the company directly. I am beyond pleased with the response! So many things claim lifetime warranties, but if you try to redeem them you have to go through so much paperwork it’s just not worth it. This company does it right! This is the only brand of cords I’m going to be buying from now on. Very happy customer!!This cord worked really well, for a while. The length is great, and the color is nice. However, it has recently not been charging my phone well. It seems to flicker between charging and not with a single touch of the cord. I’ve cleaned out my phones charging port, and tried a friend’s cable. It worked normally. I’m really hoping this is just a fluke, and that the company will honor their life time warranty and send a replacement. If they do, I will update my review.

I have only had this charging cord a few days, and I will update my review if anything significant changes, but let me say that so far I am thrilled with it. The packaging was sturdy and aesthetically pleasing, the cord came looped neatly with a velcro tie around it to keep it together and to use in the future to store it neatly. The actual cord feels very sturdy and solid, and the colour is so, so pretty. The connection and plug ends are made of metal and polished to a very smooth finish that feels like the perfect mix of form and function, and there is a very satisfying “click” when you plug it into your phone. No issues at all with charging my iPhone, begins charging right away and seems to steadily charge the phone up. I have not yet tested the speed of charging, as I use the cord to charge my phone overnight on my bedside table. Another nice detail for those who are sensitive to electronic sounds and frequencies and may charge their devices near their beds like me: this cord makes no high-pitched electric sound! It is silent and that is so wonderful.Overall I am very satisfied with this cord; the price isn’t cheap but then again, the cord doesn’t feel or work cheap either. Definitely worth it if you’re sick of cheap cords that look nice but stop working or heat up super hot or are noisy or fall apart. Just get this one and be done with all that. :)

Arrived in perfect condition.Got this for the length; the flexibility it affords me when charging my phone is so welcome. I don’t have to worry about accidentally yanking the cord out if I move too far.The nylon wrap stands the test of time; I’ve been using this for 2 and a half years, and there's no sign of wear and tear anywhere along the cord.Definitely recommend.

The color is so pretty. So far I’ve found it very durable and have not had any problems. The length is great as well.

The cable looks and feels very durable, metal ends instead of plastic. The cable suddenly stopped working so I messaged the company regarding its lifetime guarantee. They responded within a few hours and two days later a brand new one arrived.

I wasn't planning to review this other than I got tired of multiple emails begging for a review.First thing is the box this cable comes in. It's like trying to break into Fort Knox! I have mild osteoarthritis in my fingers and I had a hard time getting the box open, finally had to resort to scissors. Anyone with arthritic fingers - don't buy this! Really a plastic bag package couldn't have sufficed?The cable does work. It gets the job done and charges my iPhone. However, it's really fiddly to get it to work. I'm used to just plugging in my phone without too much effort. With this charger I plug into my phone and nothing happens. I wiggle it around a bit and push it harder and the charge light on my phone comes on and off. Until I find the sweet spot. And once I see the charge light come on I have to slightly elevate the cable to make sure it stays in there charging. This usually takes a few seconds, but there's been a couple of times it's taken half a minute or so to get it. In other words, don't just plug in your phone and assume it's charging. Look for the charging indicator to make sure it's working. Once I get the cable is in it's happy place, it does charge up my iPhone, so it does as expected but in a big roundabout way.I can live with it for the time being. I give it a just OK rating. The cable will charge a phone but the user has to put some effort into getting it done.
