very nice device if you don't need to record from all four channels.
i got this device to use with a wireless camera to put in the back yard, to see what my pets are doing, but the wireless camera would loose the signal all the time, if you need this to convert analog video into digital video this may work, but it did not work for me in the way I wanted to use it, I upgraded to a complete surveillance system and it is working much better.

Excellent analog/digital converter --- supports color cameras
Excellent analog/digital converter --- supports color cameras. Some versions of this device don't like to be turned off --- need to reinsert disc --- repair the installation --- reboot the computer. I just check the leaky roof once a month; but, I need it to work each time.

Entry level device
This little device is good for an entry level. The software is very limited and doesn't allow to do motion recording. You must install another software to handle it. I wouldn't recommend it for more than 2 cameras even though it comes with 4 connections.

do not buy this!!!
This product is garbage period. Crashes constantly, video quality is horrible, and it is NOT EASYcap its EASEcap made in Taiwan. Manual is written with bad translation and looks like it was put together with scotch tape and a xerox machine. Very disappointed with Amazon for allowing this scam.
