JUNKERSIron Annie Cockpit Automatic Watch Exhibition Back 42mm Case Black Dial 5164-2

The design caught my eye, did some research on Iron Annie brand (sub-brand of POINTtec, German manufacturer of long-standing) and the watch did not disappoint. It has a quality Japanese Automatic movement that is pretty accurate - gaining 6 secs per day, so within Chronometer Certified range. Watch face and dial design are beautiful and striking, as is the lovely DAY indicator at the top of the dial. If you shine a light on the watchface before turning out the lights, it will glow strongly all night. And I always love when Automatic movements have a clear back to you can see the movement working. At under $500, this brand reminds me of Tissot in that the watches are of high quality, but at a much lower price than the 'superstar' brands. I'm a fan now of the Iron Annie brand, but especially this particular model which is now proudly on my wrist every day.
