I bought this pump five years ago. It is installed in a two-foot deep rock pond and pumps water up three feet to form a waterfall. The pond collects a lot of debris and I hardly ever clean it out. The pump has worked flawlessly for all this time. I just bought the 4800 GPH for a second pond and I expect it to perform just as well. I have installed many other types of pump and none of them lasted this long. Some lasted as long as three years and some didn't even make it a year. This is an outstanding pump for this application.

This Danner pump operated flawlessly for 4 1/2 years, well exceeding the warranty and typical MTF for pond pumps. Plenty of output for sure, so I'm actually replacing it with a Danner 3200 gph unit. My application was border line between the two models, so I played it safe. But I'm confident the lower gph model will handle the pond and waterfall I have.

Purchased Feb 2013 and still going! Have not opened it or done anything to unit. I have skimmer that feeds into 50 gallon drum where pump is. Every few months I give pipe that has pump on a shake to free anything that might have bypassed filter and turn it back on. Water in drum always looks clear of debris. It runs 24/7 and pumps to my 5 foot high waterfall.

Great pump, the best we've had in our pond. It runs very quietly and puts out a great flow of water. The waterfall on our pond now looks like Niagara Falls. We had a 3600 gph previously but this 1 puts out considerably more water than that when did. I highly recommend it! Our last pump lasted over 10 years and hopefully this 1 will too.

Easy to use and clean

Product arrived earlier than promised. It works very well and is quiet, as promised in company ads. If pump continue to performs as advertised over the next four or five years, I will buy another.

I bought this pump because my old Savio 2050 gph pump went out. I decided to get a stronger (3000-4000 gph) pump under the Savio brand, only to find out that the price was much higher than Pondmaster and the operating cost was much higher. So I did quite a bit of research and decided on this pump. I'm glad I did, because I saved myself at least $150 on the pump, and about $.40 per hour operating. Good price, great pump
