I ordered these to replace broken ones on my guitar. I was hoping that they'd fit but if not I'd dismantle them and use the parts. Surprisingly they were a good fit but unfortunately only three of the posts had holes in them to attach the strings so a 4* review rapidly became a 1* review and they've been returned to Amazon.

The buttons look like they are chromed metal, but they are a very low grade plastic. Even when properly lubricated, they are still and the buttons crack easily, and quickly, with normal use. Save your money and look elsewhere.
