C 25 114 Air Filter

I've been using these for several years. They fit perfectly and are well constructed. When I take an old one out of the car they are never torn or coming apart anywhere. When they come new from Amazon, the filter is in that thin cardboard box that you see in Amazon's picture, and that box is in a plastic bag type of shipping container. So there is the possibility of damage in shipping. If you get one where the Mann box is mangled looking, crushed, I'd probably return it. But mine have never come damaged in any way.

The filter is of very good quality and I change it every year and I am very satisfied with it.

Easy DIY install on my BMW Z4! The entire process took less than five minutes. I specifically chose the intake air filter WITHOUT the foam pre-filter for several reasons: 1.) Foam pre-filter is not necessary for non-snow conditions (e.g. California) 2.) The foam from the previous factory filter that this replaced had deteriorated so much that there was loose foam particles everywhere inside of the intake box. I'm sure none of the particles made it past the filter, but it was still a pain to clean out the particles. If your car sees snow often, I would recommendthe foam version just to be on the safe side. Here's the link to the foam version: Mann-Filter C 25 114/1 Air Filter Another tip is...if you're using the Amazon Fitment Check for your car model, it will likely tell you this part is not compatible. But if the Fitment Check passes for the foam version (see link above), then this one will definitely fit.

The filter needed some convincing to get inside the air box, for whatever reason. This is the first time I used this version. I usually get the one with the fuzz on the bottom and it just drops in I almost thought I got the wrong filter. I am sure it will work fine, but time will tell. The fuzz version was cheaper, but was going to take several days to get here.

Fit is perfect for a 1995 BMW E36 convertible. These are good filters.

swapped out k&n filter that was in my car, it looked clean and probably cost a lot more than this, but im happier with an OEM filter that fit perfectly.
