This is the original version of this ball meant to meet your skin texture with a similar texture of its own. Recovering from major abdominal surgery, I've been using this ball partly deflated to roll around on. I lie on top of it and roll along the length of my scar, and it really loosens the tissue and makes the skin and scar less sensitive. I'll have a lot of other uses for this fitness-wise once I can do more, but nothing compares to this non-sticky, soft, skin-like texture. I've had more than my share of surgeries with giant scars, and I wish I'd had an option like this in the past. My physical therapist who is also a yoga teacher swears by these.In terms of functionality, the ball inflated almost instantly with an electric pump, and the pressure is easy to adjust with the stopper. It comes with an extra stopper, too. I identify with the purple color, but I bet the black is really nice, too. (I'm also grateful that the color is more subtle and less shiny than the photo shows.) It's bigger than a women's softball, but smaller than a women's volleyball, in case that helps you get a sense of the size.

Great for pelvic floor exercises.

Look, I didn’t want to like it this much. It looks like a kickball that you don’t inflate fully but darn it if it doesn’t make me feel stretches in all manner of muscles that are otherwise tight all the time and impossible to stretch. I’m a doctor of physical therapy and I have to give this one a recommend, to pretty much anyone.

I LOVE the Coregeous ball and it has helped me so much. ..... But there is a lack of quality control. Some stretches/ actions require TWO balls, TWO SAME SIZE BALLS. I purchased a SECOND ball for these exercises. Same ball, DIFFERENT size. So, I purchased a THIRD ball. I now have THREE different sized balls that are the same exact ball. These are all supposed to be 8 inch diameter. Difference is slight, but matters if you're trying to use two symmetrically. This is frustrating. No way I would give it up though. Lots of the bodywork is done with one ball. It has been a game changer for someone with lots of myofascial issues. By someone, I mean me.

this ball is so awesome. comes with a straw to inflate. really high quality. highly recommended

This was purchased to help with my tummy troubles. I use it often and find relief with stomach pain. It’s sturdy and the perfect size. It’s easy to inflate/deflate.

Ball seems to be decent quality, but, the instructions were to blow it up with included straw - there wasn't one. So, wasn't able to blow it up as full as I would have liked.

Durable.

Very good product. Does what it is designed to do. Would recommend it.

After one week of use the ball doesn’t stick anymore! This was expensive! Did I got a defective one? How is this possible this only last a week

Originally purchased for nostalgic reasons, looks like a pretty gymnastics ball from the 80s or 90s, really cool! But it’s actually a great ball to work with. I recommend all the balls by Jill Miller fantastic tools worth every cent.
