Great board! Exactly as described
Great board for a beginner, like me. Easy to set up and great quiality parts.Almost exactly like a rigid board despite being completely inflatable. Makes storage and transport so much easier! Especially handy that the pump is included in the packaging.Would recommend this product to anyone who's thinking about getting serious about Paddle Boarding!

Great all round board
Excellent quality, great for all levels of experience. Good all round board - both on flat water and in the surf. Maybe for the price though a backpack could have been included..?

Nice inflatable board - paddle sunk and was lost.
Took the board to a river and had a great day paddle boarding. Nice quality and solid base to stand on with good footing. Quality construction with well thought out design features. Pump works well and gets you warmed up for the fun to follow.Takes a bit of figuring out as to the best paddle technique to maneuver the board forward and around. Once figured out, it tracks fairly well for a short inflatable board. Was able to easily spend hours on the board and cover some decent distances - with and against, wind and current. The only problem, I fell off the board and after I got back on the paddle vanished into the dark river water - sunk like a stone within seconds! Searched for a while but could not find it. Really surprised me since it seemed to float in earlier falls into the river and the paddle gave no indication that it was filled with water or anything else awry.So good paddle board, disappointed in the paddle. Cut short my fun on the board. Took a stars off for the paddle. Not happy with that part of the purchase.

Amazing product and service! As rigid as they say!
Let me get the "bad" out of the way first... The only real negative I can attribute to the board itself and nothing else (manufacturing/shipping/human error, etc) is that while this is pretty good for a beginner board, it's probably also not the best option for a beginner. I have one of the Adventurer 2's, and a BicSup 11'6 and the BicSup is by FAR more stable. It's not to say the Adventurer 2 isn't stable, it's just that it does a fair amount of wobbles and that may discourage a beginner. It's not going to flip or anything it just rocks quite a bit it's just when compared to other "novice boards" it's not quite as stable is all. I do suggest you purposely rock it almost as soon as you get your bearings though, simply so you can start to get a feel for how far it'll go.Now for the good.- If you didn't know this was an inflatable you'd never be able to tell the difference. Yes, it's THAT rigid! I had this up on two saw horses and stood on it just like in their videos! The only thing that gives it away as an inflatable is if you're approaching 200lbs it'll start to sag ever so slightly in the middle.- It's also made extremely well, this really feels like something that is truly "military grade". That being said it IS an inflatable so don't be dumb with it. A really sharp rock or other underwater obstacles like metal will certainly damage or puncture the craft...but then again anything that would do that damage to this would surely also damage an non-inflatable.- The board itself is extremely fast and maneuverable in the water. When my Wife and I went on our first longer trip (about 3mi round trip) it was really windy going out and so I gave her the BicSup thinking the stability would benefit her. We switched half way through though as she found this MUCH easier to maneuver in the higher winds.- Company is really cool, they even send out postcards thanking people for the purchase!- Fin attaches easily and seems fairly sturdy...the fins permanently attached to the board are great as well! The mixed/meh- The pressure gauge flew off when pumping it up the first time and wouldn't go back on because the threads were stripped... I fixed it with some hot glue and it's held since but figured it was worth noting.- The paddle is passable, but overall it's heavy and the paddle surface is fairly small. Upgraded almost immediately to some paddles that were on sale elsewhere and never looked back.

Liking my new SUP....
I bought this when it went on a "deal of the day" last week for a very affordable price. It is a nice package especially, for first timers, as it has a nice fiberglass (2lb) adjustable paddle, the pump and gauge, a "repair kit consisting of a valve wrench, some patch material and a wide strap for rolling it down. The board has been holding air for the last week without losing any air. The outfitting is awesome as it has 3 handles, a large non skid area, a bungie tie down system w 4 attached d rings and and stern d ring to attach a leash. This is my first SUP, but I have been rafting, kayaking and canoeing for 40 years, have been a professional raft guide and canoe/kayak instructor and own a fleet of rafts, canoes, kayaks and inflatable kayaks for personal use. When the SUP boards first came out, they were modeled after the ocean boards and I did not like the narrow (tippy) and thin designs as I wanted to have a more stable, higher flotation sup that would work for rivers and also for my dog and a dry bag w food and beverages. I like this design w the width (33" on my board at the widest point) and 6" thickness compared to most w 4". The large removable center fin has the same quality system NRS sells, so it will be easy to upgrade the fin for river use. The pump looks better than I was expecting and I plan to remove the 2 screws and take it apart soon to add some silicone grease to the rubber gasket as it does seem to be a bit dry. Any SUP design is a compromise and the Adventure 2 favors stability and high flotation at the expense of speed and quick maneuverability, perfect for what I want for my first board. For racing or high level ocean surfing, there are better and more expensive options. For class III/IV whitewater river surfing, there are some more specialized options, like the Badfish designs. The build quality looks very good w nice seam work and no obvious blems, time will tell how long it will last as I know the cheaper china made PVC rafts have delamination problems after 5-15 years due to the cheaper welding process they use to make the boats affordable. The first thing I did after inflating was to apply a thick coat of formula 303 protectant as a sunscreen/PVC protectant and i recommend other consider using this to protect your board, http://www.amazon.com/303-30440-Protectant-Trigger-Sprayer/dp/B0015X95M0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1462324738&sr=8-3&keywords=303+uv+protectant I think for longevity, it would be best to store the board party inflated instead of rolled down if you have the space. Rolling the board will put some stress on the fabric and seams, but will work if you are tight on space, loose roll rather than tight would be better. Some reviewers had complained how easy the board will collect stains w the white color, mine is about to become mud red from the dirty colorado river but I read the magic erasers do good job removing stains. I am fine with just the wide strap over a carry bag as I can always find an old duffle if I want a bag and it helped to keep the cost down. Lastly, the Towercompany seems to be very responsive to any issues people are having and what a great deal it is to know I can get good customer service in the future if I have any issues. I have no vested interest in this company or their boards and bought this package with my own hard earned money. Enjoy!!!

Great SUP, with a few limitations.
This is a great SUP. I bought it after purchasing a solid board which claimed could handle 220 lbs, but rode under water at my weight of 200. It seems like most SUPs fall into the 200 - 220 weight category. The tower is rated up to 350, and I have no doubts it could handle that or more, which makes it great to take a child or dog on with you (although I'd be nervous about the claws!). When inflated, people are in awe at how solid the board is. It really is quite amazing. When done, I'm able to roll it up and easily transport it, unlike my other which required expensive Yakima roof rack accessories.I'm giving it 4 stars because it's not the most nimble SUP on the water. Attempting a sharp turn is really more like making a large arch. I believe the longer, touring style ones might be quicker. Also, using the pump is manageable to get the board to the recommended 15 psi, but it's not without a workout!

High quality board - paddles, not so great.
Pretty good paddle board. Very rigid when pumped to 12 psi, although I think all the inflatables that are 6" thick will be rigid. In any event, this one worked well. I bought 2 of these for my wife and I, and I actually returned them today. We are beginners, and it was fairly difficult for both of us to keep them stable while standing. We were on an inland, flat lake with no wind. I do believe that given time, we would eventually be able to enjoy these, but we don't plan on using them regularly, so I'm afraid there may not be much of a learning curve for us.Issues of concern:The paddle shaft slides in and is tightened to length with a friction clamp to adjust the length of the paddle. One paddle worked fine. The other paddle was so tight, even with the clamp screws completely removed, the top handle shaft would not go into the bottom tube without excessive force. I thought it would loosen up with water but it didn't.My wife fell off the paddle board and let go of the paddle. Much to my surprise, it sunk! It could be my ignorance, but I would think that something like a paddle board paddle would float! I luckily was able to dive down and retrieve it from the bottom of the lake. The reason I gave 4 stars is because I think these are very good paddle boards overall. The design is nice, they are great looking, and they worked well. The stability issue is certainly mine and my wife's problem, not the boards. Complaints of difficulty pumping to the proper psi pressure are all true. You can not use your arms to pump past 8 or 9 psi. The way you do it is to bend your body over the top of the T-Handle, and do squats with your legs, allowing your whole body to push down on the pump. But, it was doable and no worse for wear after finishing that.Deflating and rolling it up was a real pleasure. It was very easy to do, and I have to tell you - it puts a real smile on your face when you pick up the rolled up board and simply place it in the trunk of your car. Nice!I would be buying another Tower paddle board, but there is no option for a larger board unless you want the 14' long board that they offer. That board seems like overkill, even for a couple of beginners, so I decided to opt for a 12' board from another company. Thanks for reading, I really think these are good, quality products.

1 year review
Summary - initially awesome but failed the test of time. (Broken pump, hole developed quickly on light use, incomplete patch kit)I love that these can be compressed and made more portable. We have a mini van and bought two and we can still fit in all the other supplies we need and the 5 kids.We were surprised at how hard they become when they are inflated, it was impressive. The only under-whelming thing was the pumps/hoses/connectors seem very cheap but they got the job done. The whole family loved them, they worked well for all but there was definitely a difference between me, at 6'4, 200 lbs, and the kids, when we used them. I think the longer/thicker one would be better for someone my size. While we have loved them we have been disappointed in several aspects. We had only used them 6 times when the pump became unusable for one of them. The hose stopped sealing to the pump and if you tried to tighten it more it would fall off. This wasn't too big of a deal since we purchased 2 of them and we had the second pump but I would have been pretty upset had I only had the one.A few uses later and a hole developed along the seam. It was the beginning of the season and we didn't stress too much because a patch kit was sent with it. I was still super disappointed though that a hole had developed after just a handful of uses on an open lake.So finally we went to seal the hole and we opened up the patch kit and there were 2 patches but no glue. I thought it wasn't a big deal, again, because we had two of them, but when we opened up the second tube there was no glue/cement either. So overall it has been pretty disappointing from a quality perspective but if you're just in it for a couple goes then this is the board for you.**Third season update**The boards both still work, even with the small hole in one. We lost a fin this year because the pin that holds it in place became loose and fell out and the second pump broke so it’s a little more challenging to fill up now.

What a terrible pump!
I just pumped up this SUP for the very first time and the pump is a problem right from square one. I have no idea how I am going to get it to work in the future - and I live in a place where I will have to inflate and deflate each time I use it. The pump barely made it through the first time pumping up the SUP. Is there a way to buy a better pump (not that this shoudl be necessary)? The hose leaked before the board was fully inflated and whistled the entire time. If someone held it in place it could be compelled to whistle a little less but never was completely silent. I am trying to figure out if I have to return this whole setup or whether there is a fix for this issue.

Great product. Outstanding customer service.
This is my second Tower board and I couldn't be happier about it. The boards are solidly constructed with tough materials, and feels like it could really take a beating against rocks or barnacles.I really like the plain white/grey/black design, with no loud colors, crazy patterns or excessive details. Just very elegant.I had an issue with the second board, where the center fin was missing from the original box. It took me just 2 emails and less than 10 minutes to let them know and ship a replacement one, with a kind apology.I'm a fan.

Good iSUP for recreational use
I tested Tower iSUP this weekend on intracoastal water in SoFla and it performed well.Pros: large surface area - enough room for my 55lbs dog.Light weightPerforms well, although not as stable as regular (non inflatable) paddle board. This iSUP was a little wobbly, but I think if it's pumped to higher PSI it will improve stability. Mine was at about 10ps carrying about 190 lbs (me and my dog together). I tested paddle, and it did NOT sink contrary to some other reviews. The test was done in a salty water. See pics.Cons: inflating it with included manual pump took about 1 hour with a few short breaks. I am glad I tried inflating it at home, because pumping outside at 90F Florida heat would exhausted me. So I purchased a cheap "rack" : 2 foam blocks and 2 cam stripes, and transported it fully inflated on top of my sedan.I am going to invest into electric pump, so the ownership comes pricier than expected.Overall I felt that this iSUP was slower and less stable than some traditional paddle boards I used, but it was still a decent performer and good enough for recreational use.

The A2 performed great in smooth water
I'm a beginner stand up paddle boarding and took my iSUP Adventurer (A2) out for the first time today. I selected this board for its versatility and weight capacity to support an adult and kid.I took this out solo today and encountered a variety of ocean conditions ranging from smooth water, rolling swells, and light wind choppy water. The A2 performed great in smooth water. It took more concentration and balance for me to paddle thru the chop. I went down on my knees at one point because i had more stability. With my limited experience, I'm not sure if a solid SUP would have fared better.Inflating took 10 minutes (12psi) and deflating less than 5 minutes including packing up.I think I made the right choice choosing the Tower iSUP because I appreciate the portability. I'm happy with my purchase and I ended up having a blast and can't wait for my next session.

Updated 7/2018:I've had this paddleboard since 5/2017. It's my first board. I've checked it twice on planes. I've taken it all up and down Florida and Texas - it's been through sticks and barnacles and hit weird shells and survived. I've taken it in the ocean, in bays, in lakes, on rivers. I use it every week, often several times a week. Now I have two puppies - and we are still having a blast on these boards after so much use.The fin:It's not unusual for the fin to pop out if you go through rough stuff like I do sometimes. An underwater branch can easily snag the fin and pop it out, but the leash has always done a good job of keeping it attached to the board. One day a few months ago I was out on the river and the leash and fin finally fell off. I ordered a replacement from their website ($20 + $5 shipping) and it arrived in a few days. I now have the fin ziptied to the bottom so that it can't get pulled off by stuff in the water.Deck:The deck tie across the d-rings is nice - it did get stretched out from a lot of use and finally got untied somehow. I use it a lot though. I often have water bottles, coolers, life jackets, etc tied down to it. I just retied it and it was like new, and since it was tightened when I did it it's not all stretched out now. Kind of nice having a tie string instead of actual webbing because if it stretches out a bit you can just tighten it. The deck board is very very nice. It's comfortable on your feet even when you are out for several hours. It hasn't started to peel off or show any wear - other than dirt of course. I've never washed the board, and you can tell, lol. It's also great because it doesn't get too hot in the sun, and it's comfortable for my dogs to ride on. They don't slip around.Handles:Having three handles on the board is so nice! I couldn't imagine having a board with only one handle now. They get a lot of use and have held up well. The fabric covering on the handle I use the most (middle one) gets bunched up a lot, but it straightens back out again. None of them show signs of ripping or anything. Same goes for all of the d-rings - they are super strong and have no signs of coming off.Storage:I've inflated and deflated this board a ton. I've checked it twice on airplanes. For about two months straight I kept it in the trunk of my jeep and would inflate it a couple times of week as needed. This was because I was traveling all through Florida and couldn't really keep it in my hotel or strapped to the jeep without fear of theft. It was a pain to inflate it so often by hand, but I did it. I was worried about keeping it rolled up so much, I figured I was adding a ton of wear and tear to it that would reduce it's life - but it seemed fine. Now that I am done traveling and back at my apartment I keep it inflated. I haven't had to refill it in a few months since I filled them up. Being only 20lbs makes this thing very user friendly. I just haul it over my head and go. Another reason why three handles is nice - it's easier to swing around when you need to go up and down stairs.Paddle:The paddle is very very nice. I like that you can adjust it to your height. I also like that it goes down to a small size, and use this feature often when I am sitting down instead of standing up.I ordered a second one a few months ago so that I can take out friends who don't have their own board, so you see two in the picture. I spent a lot of time trying to decide whether to get this board again, or go with a different one. I ended up going with this one again because it's held up so well, has lots of d-rings everywhere, has a nice deck pad, has the tie deck webbing, and I trust it.

Great so far
I did a lot of research for an inflatable SUP before I pulled the trigger. I was worried I would sink; I was worried that the inflatable-ness would mean flimsiness; I was worried about weight of hauling it around. Bought this one, and at this point, the only thing this SUP is missing is a cup holder :)FYI: I am a 5'9" woman who weighs about 200 lbs. This SUP took me about 10 minutes to inflate (it did get a little difficult at the end, but I got it done). I inflated to about 12-13PSI, and this thing is solid. The casual observer would never know it's inflatable.I took it out on the lake, and it stayed afloat great. My brother was on a solid SUP, and he sank more than I did on this one, which was barely at all. I sat on it, kneeled on it, tried standing on it once before sitting down (it was early May and I wasn't ready to be fall into the chilly water yet if I fell off). I paddled around the lake and it was great. Like I said, the only think missing is a cup holder, but that's a trade-off I'll take for an easily portable, lightweight SUP. Once I take more trips standing up and with more than one person on it, I'll post an update.

Amazing board for a good price!
I LOVE this paddle board! I love that I can put it into the trunk of my car and go wherever. I'm a fairly fit 5'11" female and the inflation takes me less than 5 minutes. The first 3.5 minutes are easy and the last 1.5 are putting all of my body weight into it. I also bought the Isle Inflatable SUP Carrying Bag and it is perfect to carry the board and unassembled paddle in. When inflated, the board is just as rigid as a standard board. I took it on a week long trip where I paddled daily in Chattanooga/Asheville/Lake Burton and could not have been happier. I also took it down the Weeki Wachee river in Florida...this paddle board has seen a good bit in a short period of time and I see no signs of wear. The board stays fully inflated during use. My only suggestion is to offer a different color other than just white but that is no big deal! Would definitely buy this board again! I tested it out the first time in my house and my dog jumped on...he's going to be a SUP Pup!

I love this board!
I finally got to try out my new board and I love it!At first I was determined only to get a hard board, but then after looking at how much a roof rack for my car was going to cost I said...maybe not. And I'm so glad I changed my mind! I love this board. The Good:Extremely well made. At first I was scared to get an inflatable because of a review on here where someone's board was punctured while they were in the water, but I have to imagine that that would be very unusual. This thing is clearly very well made and and anything that would puncture it would have to seriously be sharp and probably dangerous generally, whether your board is inflatable board or not lol! My friends hard boards have all had to be repaired and you can tell this board really is so durable so I like not having to worry about that as much.Seems very stable; it wasn't any harder to stand up on than hard boards I'd used. Also it seemed like it kept up with my friends boards speed wise just fine and they couldn't believe how solid it feels when inflated! It can get pretty windy out on the reservoir we go to, and today was one of those windy days. I would say that this board was maybe slightly more difficult to control in the wind than their boards, but honestly when it gets as windy as it does out where I am, the hard boards are difficult to control too, so I don't even feel that there was a huge difference there.Deflating is a snap. The Bad:Ok...the only thing I don't really like is inflating it. It is definitely doable, even with the hand pump that comes with the board, but it is sure a workout. I'm 5'5" 135 lbs and would say I'm probably stronger than many women my size. However I have to literally lean my whole body weight down on the pump to get those last pumps. I got a K220 pump and that makes it much easier to inflate, but even with that it is still a significant workout for me.It was brought to my attention however, that for someone my size I probably don't even need to take it to 15 psi, and can just use 10 psi. This has also made inflation significantly easier. So, what I'm saying is if you're on the smaller side and you're reading in these reviews or comments on reviews that it should be at 15 psi, that might not even apply to you. So try it out at 10 psi and if you like it you won't have to practically kill yourself getting to 15 psi! :DSo there you have it! I would recommend it whole heartedly especially if your situation doesn't really accommodate a traditional hard board!I would really like to get the iRace board to have a second for friends or family, but since it's black it's going to get scorching in our 100+ weather here. If only it came in a different color...hint hint wink wink Tower. ;)

Wife loves it
Wife got this to paddle in the Mobile Bay but also uses it out in the Gulf. Fairly easy to transport and inflate once you read the instructions and done it 2-3 times. Get a backpack for it, it’s worth it. Very stiff once inflated to pressure can not tell it’s inflatable and not solid. Surface offers good grip to feet yet I don’t recommend dogs riding it, it sounds cute and awesome but please don’t put your pet through this, they won’t like it and they will destroy the foam padding. Very stable and if use properly can tackle choppy waters. Paddle is ok. Pump takes for ever so suggest upgrade to electric or batteries. Get a foot strap (not included) and PFD is law requires it.
