Bagging it correctly
Excellent tool for " bagging " composite repairs.

Nice fit and finish. Paired with a quarter turn valve this holds strong vacuum for many hours sealing against a home made vinyl vacuum press bag. Easy to remove and install.

These look great! I'm really impressed with the machined surface, anodized surface finish, and npt thread quality and diameter. I bought 4 this round and I'll buy more in the future. Good job, whoever made these.

Works but could be better
Easy to use, but mine would unlatch when I would tighten it too far. I had a vacuum leak, turned out it was the bag but was annoying to try and snug up this valve and it would come apart

Get ready to get frustrated
I bought two of these. I hate them. The locking design seems foolproof. The machined surfaces are perfect. The gasket is thick. For wet layups they are a nightmare. I went through yards of bagging material and rolls of yellow seal tape in a fury to get the leaks closed up before the epoxy set. Out of 10 attempts I got this connector to seal once. As you tighten it the bag material must be twisting with it and leaving small pleats which make a seal difficult if not impossible. I've tried having the gasket above and below the bag. If you tighten it a lot you'll bent the pin. Look for one that screws tight with gaskets on both sides before you end up in my shoes. I wasted days and so much money.

This is a great tool. It was easy to use and did the job it was meant to do. I would buy another one if I needed to.

Much better than expected!!!
Very well made, CNC machined parts with an excellent finish. Could only be better if it had a built in check valve.
