Nupur Natural Henna with Goodness of 9 Herbs for Silky & Shiny Hair 3 Pack (3 x 120 g)

I let the color bloom over night with a little lemon juice and my hair felt amazing. Very smooth application, easy to wash out.

Very high quality henna, well sifted, very fine powder that applies smoothly and gives great reddish coppery color to my grey's.

This is the best henna that you can buy. I've used this brand for years and will never change it. This has all the additional spices to make your hair much healthier beyond the regular benefits of regular Lawson. Other brands have grainy textures and probably have more impurities and additives that are note henna. I've purchased "natural" or organic labeled bags of Henna that feel like green sand and do not mix well. Nupur is top quality and you can tell that the product is pure and has been siffed many times making it fine and smooth and able to blend very well when mixed. I've used this in my hair only, although it does stain my hands if I'm too lazy for gloves, but I may not recommend for henna tattoos as there are other additional herbs which are unnecessary and may lessen the color effects. Color tip: mis in lemon juice right before application for hair or henna tattoo.

I can see a difference in my hair, I was expecting more hair color, but I think this is used as of more of a conditioner. Again not bad, but I was expecting more hair color. I do know you have to let your hair being the Sun for the color to come out more so we will see.

I've been using henna for a year or two now, and plan to continue for eternity. I love how this conditions my hair and scalp while providing a beautiful red color. My scalp always feels cleaner and healthier- flake free, when I use this. It's an earthy strong smell but I prefer that smell over yucky chemicals any day. Great price too! Many people compliment my hair and ask if my hair color is natural. I am a natural redhead and this gives it the perfect boost/highlights without looking fake. I also have curly hair and noticed this adds to the shine. I have several friends who I converted to henna! It's a beautiful highlight for darker hair, and a beautiful enhancer for lighter hair. I highly recommend!

I started using this product in January after watching youtube.com videos and doing my research on various blogs. My other Henna was starting to raise in price and not fitting my budget. My goal is to cover my grey mostly in the front of my head. My 2 step process is as follows. I start by mixing the Godrej Nupur Mehendi Powder 9 Herbs Blend, 150-gram mixed with Goya coconut milk first either 4 hrs or overnight. I like it to be thick not runny. I tried it with cheap VO5 conditioner but found it too watery. I also tried it with black tea but I like the smoothness I get with the coconut milk. I washed hair to remove the styling products. Then I applied to my hair(natural African American hair just touching my shoulder) for 1 to 2 hours covered with a plastic bag. Rinse with water only. I reached a orange/ red color. This is a good base for the Indigo to stick too. Then I followed up with Indigo Powder(ordered here on Amazon- INDIGO POWDER For Hair Dye By: Zenia- see above review),water as needed to make smooth, 1 tsb of sea salt, 2 tsp of the Nupur henna(I add this since I am trying to cover my grey as dark as possible), and 1 tsp of Guar Gum Powder(this helps make the mixture smoother). Mixed then let sit for 10 min till a blue/deep green glaze formed on the top while washing out this Henna with water only. Then I apply the Indigo to my hair and cover with a plastic bag. I let it darken for 1 hr 30 min. This was easy to rinse out with water first. Then I did another rinse with moisturizing conditioner. I let it sit on my hair for 5-15 min. Depending on how my hair feels I may do another deep conditioner. I don't always since I don't want to rinse/strip out the Indigo too much. Within 2 days my hair is a dark close to black color I desire. I am pleased with the Godrej Nupur Mehendi Powder 9 Herbs Blend. I plan to purchase again. I have found that it has been out of stock at times or a higher price for a smaller pack. So I get the 3-pack 150grams. I can get 2 applications out of 1 pack. I find that between my hair care products(curl creams,styling lotion and such),new growth and fading I need to apply via 2 step process 1 time every 3 weeks to maintain coverage. What I will notice first is that when the Indigo starts to fade the grey stays a brownish slightly gold color that is not too bad until I can do another Henna treatment. I am using this process after 2 years of trial and error with different henna and mixes. It works for my grey coverage. I hope this helps.
