Just what I was looking for

This is definitely not for long, thick hair. Admittedly, my hair is about waist length, so I could not get all of my hair underneath it, so it felt like i was going to lose it. I gave it away.

I was so happy when my bun holder came in the mail. I was excited and immediately fixed my hair into a bun and put my new bun holder on my bun. I was doing something and my bun holder fell off the bun and my ponytail fell loose. The problem is that the plastic stick they have for the bun holder fits through the holes and doesn’t hold your bun in place very long at all. It is a pretty item and the design concept is really good but the round end on the stick needs to be a lot bigger in order not to slide completely through the bun holder.

This is a nice hair clip but not for women with thick hair. The description mentioned all hair types but I have thick, heavy hair and it would not hold any of it. Sadly, it had to be returned.

I love it but wish they would make different sizes. If they made this one double in size it would hold my thick long hair easier and I would not have to fight to get it done faster. But overall I like it.

I have pretty fine hair and it's not thick either so I put it up in a ponytail with an elastic first to give the pick on this hair clip something to grab but it works perfectly by doing that. Looks good and is really nice for holding my hair up off my neck especially when the weather is hot!

When I ordered this, I was hesitant. I have long, thick wavy hair and wasn't sure it could hold my hair. What a GREAT surprise! It fit perfectly. It takes me about 30 seconds to twist my hair into a bun and cover it with this beautiful clip. It looks great and STAYS PUT! The pin that holds it in place is strong and nothing moves.Before, I got this clip, it would take me 10-15 minutes to make a bun. I had to use a silicon rubber band, a hairnet, and a ton of hairpins and bobby pins to hold it in place. I'm so pleased with the quality, comfort, beauty, and ease of use of this product, and will be purchasing a few more of different colors!
