The so-called hose adapter that comes with this brush does not fit any garden hose. Instead of coming with a female thread end like any other garden hose accessory to fit into the male end of the garden hose, the adapter that ships with this brush has a male end. And worse yet, the threads on the male end of this adapter are much finer than the standard garden hose threads, so it is impossible to purchase another garden hose adapter to convert the male threads to female threads. No hardware store sells any kind of an adapter that will allow you to fit this brush onto the end of a standard garden hose.So I thought perhaps if I could find the proper quick-connect adapter to replace that one the came with this brush, that might solve the problem. I finally managed to find such as adapter on Amazon that has the proper female garden hose thread on one end and a quick-connect on the other end. It was the Claber 8983 Garden Hose To Accessory Quick Connector. But that doesn't work either because the quick-connect end receiver on the brush is slightly different than a standard quick-connect fitting, and consequently it will not hold the brush onto the hose when you turn on the water. Even a slight water pressure blows the brush off the hose.On the bright side, this brush has soft bristles that should be very friendly to any paint finish, and the handle is very comfortable. But the device is useless because there is no way to connect it to a garden hose.

I very much like using a brush to wash a car that has water running through it. In my opinion this is the only way to insure the dirt gets washed away without scratching the car surface as it's being removed. I could not find such a brush in my local automotive stores and I was happy to see this brush available through Amazon. It appears well constructed, the bristles are soft but not too soft and the water flow rate valve works perfectly. I did have to find and buy a quick disconnect fitting to mate to the brush. But with this fitting the brush has the ability to swivel freely in either direction with a twist of the wrist -- a nice feature.

After reading the reviews on the car wash brush, I was very excited to receive it and start using it. The concept is great and "in theory" it would perform the way I needed to. Unfortunately, I had a problem with the (internal) white plastic valve shutting off the water flow. First, I went to the amazon to return the product for a replacement. I discovered that once you buy it... it's yours. They will not give you an option to return it or replace it. As a result, I decided to try and take off the grey plastic "shut off" trigger and make sure it was seated correctly. I was unsuccessful! Our home is only on rain water so I can't afford to waste any water. Don't buy the product if you want to save water or completely shut the water flow off.

Great product, brush is really is soft. I am paranoid about scratching my car with anything! but not worried at all once i felt how soft this brush really is. This brush really works well, the adjustable water pressure is great too. Cuts down washing my by at least by 35-40% of time it would take me otherwise. It easily gets into cracks and corners as well. The only thing is its easy to miss spots with it, make sure you go over every inch of your car several times, or you will have a nice dirty stripe where you missed.

Works fine. Not life-changing. Good for cleaning wheels. It comes with a quick disconnect fitting installed which you can remove with a wrench. Once the fitting is removed, you can screw it onto any US garden hose.

The brush just won't stay in the hose. Connection is extremely not secure.

The car wash brush is great. However there was no packing slip or any instructions. It was not in any type of packaging and looked dirty and dusty.
