I wish so much I took pics of before, during and after. The product works... I have been battling a wart on my finger/under my nail for almost 2 years. Have gotten it frozen off by a dermatologist, treated it with compound W, tried essential oils, manuka honey, apple cider vinegar... EVERYTHING, and all anything ever did was upset the wart and it would end up bigger and uglier, and came back with a vengeance. With each of those attempts, I could never get all the seeds to go away, and each treatment was REALLY painful. So I read a ton of the reviews on this WartStick, and decided that I would give it a try. It arrived and I had been attempting to treat my wart was manuka honey and manuka oil (alternating each day which one I used for about a week). The honey made the texture of the wart softer, so I'm wondering if that helped. The manuka oil was less diluted, and very effective at causing the wart to feel irritated, but not too much pain. Once I got the WartStick, I applied it immediately, being careful to only apply it to the wart and not the surrounding skin. I put a bandaid over it and when I woke up the next morning, it was much more aggravated, red and with some minor pain. I cleaned it up, reapplied the WartStick and bandage and this time didn't check back on it for a full 24 hrs... at that time the pain was HORRIBLE (not one review mentioned how much this would hurt, I wanted to throw up from the amount of pain my little pinky finger was in)! Worse then any attempt I had ever made to rid myself of this wart. It was red, my finger was swollen and I was questioning going to the doctor, worried about an infection. I decided that I would let it breathe without a bandaid or any kind of 'treatment'. 2 days of letting it breathe and scab over, I woke up that morning and part of the scab had lifted, so I went to lightly rub it off (to avoid it getting snagged) when all of the sudden the entire scab lifted off and to my surprise there wasn't a black seed to be seen!! It's been about a week now since I first applied the WartStick, my skin is still healing, but doesn't hurt whatsoever, there is still no signs of the black wart seeds and I've been making sure to apply a good quality cuticle oil to my finger, to care for the new skin. Because of where this wart was located, my nail bed may never be back to it's pretty self, but for the first time since having this wart, I feel like I have hope that it will not be returning. Please note that this will indeed become painful, but as for now, I see no signs of the wart returning and to me it was worth the pain. On another note, I've read that sometimes the hard to get rid of warts, have to become 'infected' for your body to fight them... I believe this product did that for me, quickly and effectively! I will update if this pesky wart returns, but for now I am hopeful that WartStick kicked it's butt.

I bought this a while back and am finally going to write a review about it. First off, 4 of my kids have wart problems ever since we move in with my in laws for the time being. I've tried using the ones sold at the store that came in liquid forms, bandaid, and even the freeze kit. One of my daughter got rid of hers at the doctor office using liquid nitrogen. Not gonna lie, it hurts, she cried, and really huge blister forms. My 4 year old daughter has hers on her fingers which her doctor didn't reccomend using liquid nitrogen on it so we had to see a dermatologist about it. During the visit with the dermatologist, he suggest the wart stick that was sold at the pharamacy or on amazon. Those at the store are utter crap. It needs to have 40% salicylic acid inorder to get rid of the wart so he recommend this. Just don't confused it as a chapstick because they look exactly like chapstick if you don't look carefully. Upon 3 month after using on and off for my kids,I can finally say that they are gone. None of their fingers, hand, elbow, foot, and nose. It's like they weren't there in the first place. I had tried the other stuff at the store for months and the wart would just stay the same or got bigger + spread more. I definitely recommend this wart stick to anyone that have problem with warts. This actually works. Save money from visiting the dermatologist and try this first. It really works. I stand by this product 100% and has recommend it friends and family. If I had known earlier, I would had save my daughter from the pain and use this. Now she is stuck with scars from the liquid nitrogen. Forgot to add on how I use it. I usually put it on at night and cover with a bandaid but with a few kids and lots of fingers, they went through bandaid like crazy so I bought those cloth like type tape at the store and gauze pads (at first aid section). For the gauze pad, I cut it into small pieces (just enough to cover the wart) and use cloth tape to wrap over it. On the side note, don't buy the plastic type looking ones. It leaves residue on your fingers. Do this every night and take off during morning. If it becomes red and irritated, leave it alone until it's not irritated anymore.

This product is so much better than typical wart treatments. Liquid wart removers and even plantar wart removers contain less than half of the active ingredient than this wart stick doesn’t I also believe that the waxy stick formulation of the wart stick helps to keep it where it’s supposed to be vs the wart remover liquid. My son has a wart on his knee that we’ve been treating with liquid for over 6 months. It wasn’t getting bigger but it certainly wasn’t going away either. I bought the wart stick and after 3 treatments the wart fell off. I found it best to apply the stick and cover with a bandage. I have another family member with stubborn plantar warts on the foot and I’m hoping the wart stick is as quick and effective on it as well. Wart stick will be my first line wart treatment from now on. It works.

I don't know why after 35 years of fighting 2 plantar warts and 15 years of fighting another wart on my finger that i only hard if this product a couple months ago. I have had every medical procedure (cutting, nitro freezing, burning with hot poker, burning with lazers, hot poker again) and tried every other home based therapy (compound w for years, dozens of home freeze kits, using stronger acids you can buy online that are marketed towards chemical face peals, duct tape, new skin for oxygen deprevation, apple cider vinegar, wart pads, etc etc). I'm on my 3rd tube and just ordered 2 more so while I am not relieved of my longstanding affliction I can positively report the most progress of any home treatments. For the plantar warts, 1 is at the heel and large about 2"x.75" and the other at the ball of the foot .75"x.75". The ball goes very deep and i discovered the heel presented at the surface only about 85% of the wart. The remaining part of this wart is at the side of the heel and doesn't show at the surface. This is why I believe no medical treatments worked because it wasn't 100% removed. Make sure you soak in water to see as much of the extents as possible but if you have a persistent on going problem like i have, use the stick all around the seen areas. Skin that is clear will peel and look normal but as you radiate out you may find additional under the surface areas with either blank skin (no common wart look but also no "fingerprinting" patterns. Keep going along these paths until you hit clear skin that peels away. This process may take several days or more. You'll know it's right when the skin turns all white. For coverings, I have used various bandaids from waterproof to flexible and they work reasonably well. I saw another reviewer here recommend transpose tape so i bought 6 rolls. I do not recommend this for plantars because the tape is porous and both the glue and the wart wax will seep out with pressure on the foot. 3M waterproof tape is the good and longest lasting. But if you have the patience and lack of pain for it I found the bandaid pad seems to really let the product work for longer. Bandaids fall off though so I wrap the bandaid with transpose tape all the way around the foot to keep secure but ripping hair off when changing and the extra effort this way requires has me just using waterproof tape over a generous amount of waxy wart stick. Be sure to cover your area plus some. Change twice a day and you should get results. For my finger i use a flexible type bandaid. I will not quit this time. I'll probably require at least two more months of treatment as all my previous efforts only made these things extra resilient. Good luck fellow sufferers!

I’ve had this wart for about 5 years and within 1 single month my wart was gone thanks to this product!! I started on Sunday NOV2. I’d apply it twice a day. Once in the morning and then half way through the day or evening. I’d thoroughly wash my hands and the area before putting on the product. After I coated the wart evenly i tightly placed a waterproof bandaid on it. I would wipe off some product from the top of the wartstick with a tissue just so it’ll be a fresh new layer of product before I re-apply. I kept doing this until Wednesday NOV21st. The morning after (that Thursday) I took off my band aid and noticed that a tiny flap of skin at the base of the wart was sticking up. I felt the need to pick at it and when I pulled it back, brownish fluid oozed out (yeah i know). Idk if that was normal but I washed it off with soap and cool water. I had peeled off the wart, wrapped it in toilet paper & threw it in the trash (after I closely inspected it of course :P). I added a bit of hydrogen peroxide (that stuff that comes in a dark brown bottle) to clean it up a bit more. After it had dried, I put a bandaid over it since I was going to be out and about that day and didn’t want it to come into contact with anything. A week later I don’t use the bandaids anymore but the area where my wart used to be is still pretty red and tender to the touch. As you can see in my #3 and #4 photos, my lateral nail fold is partially gone and my nail is exposed. Which isn’t really a big deal but you can definitely notice that my finger isn’t like the others if looked at closely:) ~ I remember being self conscious when I was at the salon getting my nails done and I KNEW the asian ladies were talking poop about how gross my finger is in their language that I didn’t understand. I don’t blame them though, it was pretty unsightly. I felt so embarrassed I never went to a nail salon again lol I have no freaking idea why I didn’t get rid of it sooner.... but in all honestly, i sincerely hope my review was helpful enough. The tube has a considerably large amount of product still left in it, like I literally didn’t even use up 1/4 of the tube. Maybe half of that.

I liked that it's compact and easy to carry in my purse, if needed. I also like that it's not a liquid.

I have one plantar wart. I noticed it in late February and saw my doctor just before things closed down in mid-March. He did a cryotherapy treatment and clearly let me know that it may or may not work and a second treatment may be required; in my case, it did not work. Followed up with my doc via a virtual appointment, got the OK to try out salicylic acid. He indicated to try it for 4 - 6 weeks. I purchased this product due to its higher percentage of salicylic acid and the comments of some of the reviewers. It is easy to apply. I apply after my foot and the wart area are completely dry after a shower and then cover it with a band aid. That helps keep the medicine from being rubbed off by your sock or such. Also, I don't like seeing it more than I have to :-). The acid results in the skin shedding itself in overdrive mode and I have had large pieces of skin come off (there is new skin underneath it). So far, the wart it still there. My doc indicated that it a long process and in the end I still may have to go with another round of cryotherapy and, if that does not work, I can have it surgically removed. I have read they can eventually resolve on their own, but that can take years. I would be less pressed about it going away if it were not painful when walking. I can say that the area has become less painful after about four weeks of using this product as the wart and the irritated area around it have become smaller. And, on an important practical note, part of it being easy to apply is that it comes in a chapstick-like applicator, so be careful to not accidentally apply it to your lips ;-). In case you're wondering how this product may be helpful in treating plantar warts -- per WebMD, this is how salicylic acid works: "This medication is used on the skin to treat common skin and foot (plantar) warts. Salicylic acid helps cause the wart to gradually peel off. This medication is also used to help remove corns and calluses. This product should not be used on the face or on moles, birthmarks, warts with hair growing from them, or genital/anal warts. Salicylic acid is a keratolytic. It belongs to the same class of drugs as aspirin (salicylates). It works by increasing the amount of moisture in the skin and dissolving the substance that causes the skin cells to stick together. This makes it easier to shed the skin cells. Warts are caused by a virus. Salicylic acid does not affect the virus."

This is the only one of three home products I tried that worked. First I tried liquid salicylic acid. It never seemed to have much effect. I think if I had been able to apply it many many times a day it would have worked, but in my job environment, it wasn’t possible. Second, I tried the aerosol can wart remover to freeze it off. Never worked a bit. Following the instructions for amount of time the cold tip was in contact with the wart seemed way too low. Finally I tried this product. The waxy nature of the stuff makes it easy to apply a greater amount to the wart. I would do that and put on a small bandage. It was on my inner thumb. In a little more than a week 3/4 of the wart died and peeled off. I started adding a lesser amount directly to the remaining wart and used bandages with tiny little pads. Again in about a week it peeled away. Now at this point I couldn’t tell if it was all dead or not. I let it heal for a few days and saw what I thought was it starting to grow back, but in retrospect think it was not. So being unsure I did it again for several days. Finally I was convinced it was gone and I’ve let it heal up. Seems to be gone. I really do recommend the little 1/4 inch pad bandaids toward the end. It’s all about getting the medication on the wart and only on the wart to avoid as much collateral damage of surrounding tissue as possible. Way better than going to a doctor, painless, inexpensive. I recommend highly.
