OK, so I used the Pluck today when I got it from Amazon (next day delivery), and my initial review is that it's AWESOME on ear hair. For me personally, my ear hair doesn't hurt when plucked, and this thing can grab those annoying hairs that come back so quickly that makes it much easier than the battery ear/nose trimmer. I used it on nose hair and it also works nicely, but I didn't want to do too much the first day, so more to come there. I'm going to wait a few days before using it again. I did follow the advice in the manual (and warnings in these reviews) and wiped antibiotic cream on the areas plucked with Q-tip. More updates later in case there are any less positive findings, but this thing is great :-) 11/3/2022 - I've had this for 2 years plus now, still an AWESOME device, works great, and holds up - still like new.

Somewhere in the advertising, I remember seeing mention of being surprised at just how much hair one will find out is in their nose. That turned out to be very true. This hair remover, while not the most pleasant thing to experience, is very effective and has given me a new appreciation for clean nostrils. It's a small task but offers a very sharp difference in appearance when all hair is fully removed.

Well made, easy to use…. I mean you could use it successfully, blindfolded, easy to use. It’s a keeper! Only four stars because five means Nobel prize worthy in my book.

This is the most useless item I've purchased on Amazon, which is saying something. The spring is not prone to catching hairs, if you bury it in arm hair you're unlikely to actually pull one out. In the ear canal it sounds like it might be getting some tiny peach fuzz, but it's not going to do anything relative to the big hair that's actually bothering you.

I’ve tried just about everything when it comes to nose hair grooming — trimming, shaving, waxing — and I’m still on the search for something that truly works consistently. This trimmer does an okay job for quick touch-ups, but it doesn’t fully solve the problem. It’s easy to use and compact, which I appreciate, and it’s gentle enough not to irritate. That said, it often requires multiple passes and still misses finer or stubborn hairs. The results are acceptable, but not as thorough as I’d hoped. If you need something for occasional maintenance, this may work for you. For those looking for a more powerful or precise solution, you may find yourself continuing the search. This is a product from the heavens which has brought me NOSE HAIR SALVATION. Clever design, well constructed product made from quality materials. Comes with a lifetime warranty to repair or replace, which is pretty amazing. The best part is that it works like an absolute CHARM! A word about plucking vs trimming. Cutting leaves a blunt edge, resulting in a tiny little "stump" of a hair shaft; that's why shaved or trimmed stubble is so scratchy and prickly. A plucked hair, however, grows back with a thin, wispy tip which is soft and fine. Bonus: plucked hairs grow back increasingly finer, sometimes not at all. The upshot of this is that after trimming nose hair, putting pressure on the sides of your nose can be very uncomfortable. Hair stubble will press into the ultra-sensitive skin inside your nostrils like miniature hot drill bits. In an effort to avoid this, I've spent years stuffing popsickle sticks with globs of hot wax up my nose. Until now, until THE PLUCK, the new messiah of my clean, hair-free nares! This thing is just so clever and easy, a little coiled spring that grabs the hairs when it's compressed so you can yank 'em out. It's VERY thorough and precise; not once did I get a hair that wasn't totally pulled out, complete with root ball attached. I worried I might inadvertently pinch my skin; the more I used it, the more I'm convinced that's not possible; the coil is too tiny. The discomfort is very minor-- weirdly, while tweezing one nose hair alone can be excruciating, pulling bunches at a time is pretty tolerable. If you've never waxed or tweezed your nose hair before, OHMYGOSH. Your nose feels so clean, all of a sudden it's like the difference between being completely congested and breathing freely; it sounds odd to say that inhaling is a pleasant experience, but all of a sudden, it is. I want the hair gone because I hate the way it looks, but it's so nice how my nose just feels so unblocked & open. In case you couldn't tell, I absolutely love this little gadget ;)

I'm using it for ear hair deep in ear canal. Working well for me.

Extremely clever design. Only made from a few simple parts but it feels very well put together and like it would last a long time. No scratchiness to the plunging motion at all. It is also extremely effective - a mirror is not a necessity, gets the job done rapidly, and doesn't feel like an enhanced interrogation device like I thought it would. Bottom line - you'd be silly to waste money waxing, plucking , trimming or epilation ever again in my opinion. Buy it once, buy it right.

Just tried the device for the first time. It works as it should. Being metal built, hope it lasts me awhile at least. Cheers all.

So I have a thing about clean ears and I needed a better way to manage hair in the ear canal to keep my ears as clean as I like. I decided to give this device a try and there’s nothing better. I now use it for ears and nose hair. Relatively painless, efficient, not batteries required. I have replaced my battery powered nose/ear hair trimmers now. It’s so effective!

I was a bit sceptical purchasing this product because of the price and shipping to Australia but honestly the quality is first rate, and works incredibly well- exactly as described. Very happy with purchase.
