The book was somewhat insightful but way too brief. On the other hand, this book was a wonderful read as long it lasted.

I was excited to finally find a biography on Scottie Pippen. I was highly disappointed. I didn't learn anything new about the man. There was very little research done. You could learn everything by going to basketball-reference.com instead of reading this book. It was just page after page of stats that Pippen compiled during his career. One star for the book, an extra star for Pippen. Don't waste your $1.99.

This book is poorly written and edited. It offers little insight into his life and career beyond stats and dates. Two stars for trying.

Good book, but tells all the known details of his career. Still I recommend this book if you don't know much about Pippen.

Having previously read Clayton Geoffreys’ bio of Steph Curry, I was interested in checking out this short bio on Scottie Pippen. Although brief, this book packs in a lot of great stories from Scottie’s younger years, coming up as a school ball player and then in college at the University of Central Arkansas. He will always be remembered as Jordan’s right-hand man, but Scottie changed the way forward was played. If it weren’t for Scottie, Jordan might not reached the level of success he reached and the Bulls certainly wouldn’t have become champs several times over. This book chronicles all of Pippen’s successes, along with his NBA records and takes a looks at the legacy he left. It’s a well-written book, concise and easy to read. Plus, it is a very inspiring story for younger athletes, describing the amazing work ethic and simple “want-to” these players have to have in order to reach the professional level. If you are a Bulls fan or a basketball fan in general, this is a great biography to pick up!

Scottie Pippen is one of my idols. This is a comprehensive book that includes everything about the career and life of the legendary basketball player. It's great to find all the highlights of his career in one place. He was the fifth pick be the Seattle Supersonics. After being transferred to the Chicago Bulls, his career exploded. He was one of the basketball stars from the 90s. In the later part of his career he made history for the Portland Trailblazers.

I didn't have high hopes for this book. But there isn't any other Pippen biography out there. Writing is wooden and lacking detail. Virtually all discussion of games appear to be summary of Pippen's box score. It is like a long poor Wikipedia entry. I hope one day writes the definitive Pippen book - he certainly deserves one.
