Is this supposed to be a gag gift or it actually works? Trying to get something fun for the guy lol

The Hooks are real so yes, it could be used for fishing, but it is very massive so not sure what you would catch lol I bought it for my toddler (took off the hooks of course) because she loves fish! So it could also be a gag gift as well! ;)

Very realistic looking

We will see. Sounds like a baby rattle. 10/18/20 Took it fishing and a big muskie hit. I'm still trying figure out what happened. Can see the teeth marks on the back of the lure. I guess he just missed the hook. I do know I don't like the hard fins
