After 8 month my transmitter failed. After contacting SitBooBoo customer service for warranty service we determined that it was due to a lightning strike that transmitted, not through the household 120v circuit, but through the boundary wire. This was new knowledge to me. This surge event wasn't covered under warranty, but they worked with me to get a replacement at a reduced cost. I learned that there is a surge protector for this boundary circuit for only $20, which i will get asap.They were very helpful and supportive for me ' 5 stars' for Customer service.Thanks. Chuck

This above-ground dog fence works great for us. We simply attached the wire to our backyard perimeter fence & all went well.The company is great & very responsive.I accidentally broke a small piece during the install. (I destroyed the resistor - all my fault)I contacted the company to purchase a replacement. I explained what happened & was surprised with a new replacement part at no cost to me. Did not even have to pay for shipping!I would recommend this Company & type of dog fencing to anyone.
