Outsidepride Castor Bean Gibsonii Seeds
I received my shipment quickly. I soaked all seeds in water overnight to speed germination. I planted all seeds in a common pot. They broke ground in about 5 days! I transplanted each plant in its own pot. Roots looked good today as I was transplanting. I believe 45 seeds out of 50 germinated. Some of the other seeds were slow to sprout and just one looked like a "dud'. I'm patient - I believe 49 out of 50 will make it. Maybe all will make it! The shipping was quick, the price was right, the seeds germinated and seem to be growing very quickly. I'm anxious to see the mature plant. Yes! I would purchase from this vendor in the future. Seems like a healthy product and good quality.

Really enjoy
Second set of seeds these are beautiful plants the leaves are gorgeous they grew over 4 ft and I didn't plant till July staring early can get up to 6 ft. The bean is poisonous so I harvested mine and left them in a container in my garage .

Effectivele Gopher deterrent
I may get some flack for this but, after a 20 year battle with gophers tearing up my yard, this is keeping them away.

Very Pretty but not deep purple.
Seeds germinated fine. All of the plants went to seed very quickly. The leaves have a shallow tint of purple, but are mostly green. The seed pods are a bright pink, not red. They do grow slow and are on the small side; I think they will make great container plants. Very beautiful. 4 star because I was expecting a deep purple which they are not. Still very pretty though and happy with purchase. They were delivered promptly and came from USA not China.

Striking appearance
Slow to start, then grew like crazy. 6 feet and still growing. Leaves are about 20 inches across. Use stakes to help support main stem. You'll only need to buy once as seeds are proliffic. (Highly poisonous so don't use if you have kids around ). You can always remove flower stems before seeds form.

UNBELIEVABLE RAPID GROWTH & PRETTY!
These seeds were a little slow to germinate but WOW WHEN THEY DO! They grow like CRAZY! They are beautiful and when they move in-- the moles move on---out! They hate these plants for some reason. I would not recommend you to plant and ignore them-- when the blooms make seeds-- the seeds are poison. Harvest them as soon as they are ready and be sure and seal them in a jar for safe keeping. Plant them where your pets will NOT be in or around them. The seeds can be burried in mole holes provided you haven't a cat or dog who digs for moles or grubs. They are highly poison for PEOPLE AND PETS! So be warned.

Ordered on March 22 and still don't have them.
Those little seeds must be coming from Panama or El Salvador in a canoe rowed by little old saintly virgins and one of them is clutching my 50 castor bean seeds in her skinny blessed hand. I hope the custom agent prays to the saint of growing green things and lets my saint and my beans pass soon or my deck won't have the charm of the traditional castor glow as the summer eases on down into heat and thse balmy lemonade daze. Just want my beans, my beautiful beans, send them to me please.

So far, so good!
I planted 5 seeds in seed starting mix, kept them warm, moist, and in the light. Every one of them has come up. They are only about 4" tall at the moment, so they are ready to pot up and be brought into the house for the winter. I will update my review in the spring to see if they survive the winter indoors. I'm in zone 9b, so I hope they can survive the winter next year with some protection from the frost along with citrus and bananas.
