The pump took 5 minutes to install and has worked fine since. It is very quiet
I bought this to replace the exact same model of pump that I had on my downstairs air handler. The original lasted 13 years, so I figured it would be a drop in replacement. It was. These condensate pumps aren't rocket science in that they move water from one location to another... I was more concerned with ease of install and reliability. So, here I am about 2 months later. The pump took 5 minutes to install and has worked fine since. It is very quiet. I assume it would work in all applications, not just as a replacement for the exact same model. Basically all you need is a 3 prong socket and to run a couple of wires from your air handler, which anyone can do. Directions are fine. I suppose you could run it with just the power cord and let the float do the work, but if it overflows for whatever reason you'll burn out the pump eventually. Who really cares as it's cheap and if it overflows you'll probably notice or have bigger problems than a condensate pump anyways.

Works great
Great at collecting condensate and pushing it away from the unit

Seamless and easy replacement of older Beckett condensate pump
Had an older Beckett condensate pump which had run fine for 25 years, but started getting noisy. The last straw was when I noticed a buzzing noise one afternoon. The pump was stuck "on" -- pumping running but no liquid was being pumped out. After tapping on the unit, the float became unstuck and the pump turned off. But the unit was very warm to the touch. New pump installed fine, very simple to unplug old unit, remove flex tubing, unscrew a couple sheet metal screws, then reverse the process with the new pump. I chose to stick with Beckett because it was easy to compare specs of old vs. new unit to confirm suitability. New pump runs much quieter, all good.

Decent pump but not very quiet
Purchased this pump to replace an identical unit that came with our house - the old pump looked about 10 years old and sounded like a motor bearing had about given up (very noisy). The new pump installed very easily, self-primed and started pumping almost immediately and has worked great for a month now. Good replacement but was hoping for noise no louder than a muffled hum; while not loud, it can be heard clearly across the room at night when the TV/radio is off.

Thankful Beckett company still around!! Bought as exact replacement for 19 year old original pump!!
Bought as an exact replacement for our original one that was installed 19 years ago! Excellent condensate pump as you can tell if the first one lasted that long, as well as the company still being in business! Probably less than five minutes to install and works perfectly and best of all, it's alot more quieter than our first one! Highly recommend buying this pump!!!

An easy fix and saved big bucks.
I got it for my dad. Replaced the old pump with same model number. He said it went on great (screw holes a little offset), but functioned perfectly and fixed the problem. Was a very reasonable price and a lot cheaper than paying $$$ for a pro.

Long lasting, quiet, and cost effective
Exact match of one I replaced except this one has a test lever which is great. Original lasted a lot of years.
