Very good product
These are very well designed. The functionality is great the sound perfect and connectivity exceptionally good. I can walk around the whole house listening to the news without missing a word. They charge quickly. They are reasonably comfortable.

Excellent product & Customer Service
My TV listening devise of many years service finally died. I wear hearing aids so an over the ears headset presents feedback problems. The SM824D1 headset is open ears and very similar in style and operation to the one I had before and even came with a spare battery, which charges separately from the headset in the transmitter base.I found the sound quality of this unit to be excellent and since it is transmitted by RF and not IR, as the previous unit, I could even leave the room wearing the headset and still listen to the TV audio. The spare battery charger failed after a week or two of use. I emailed SIMOLIO Customer Service and received a quick response, and after a few back and forth emails to verify the problem, I was sent a new transmitter base.I cannot attest to the longevity of the product as I have only had it for a few weeks. However, based on recent customer Service experience, I would definitely recommend this company and the product, which is comfortable to wear and has excellent sound quality.

Great performance but somewhat uncomfortable
Performance of these earphones rates 5 STARS. The reason I have rated them at 4 Stars is do to a comfort issue. Volume, balance between left and right earphones and quality of the sound are just about perfect. The ability to hear others speaking at the press of a button w/o having to remove the earphones is very nice. The major negative for me is that after wearing the earphones for about 15 minutes they become uncomfortable. The weight of the controller to which the ear phones for me is too heave thus the exert excessive weight on my ears. It would be better if the earphone controller had an additional plug which would allow using lighter earbuds which for me would be a lot more comfortable. It should be noted that not all connection options will work depending on the TV to which they are connected. I tried to use the optical digital connection with a SAMSUNG Smart TV. The connection did not provide sound to the earphones. But when connected via the RCA plugs the earphones worked great. Don't know reason what the optical connection did not work since I don't believe the TV has DOLBY sound.

Volume and tone on point!
First, I have pretty bad hearing. 50% hearing in one ear, only. The other, zero! My need is to get the sound to my ear directly with good tonal quality and volume. Unassisted tv listening was not there, or barely. I previously bought the Simolio dual headset with infrared transmission for the den tv. It was very fulfilling being able to listen to tv again! I bought the single headset with 2.4 Ghz transmitter to see if it was different in sound quality. It was a bit better than the other and the volume was louder, which was great! I can't compare this unit to other brands and I find it unecessary to do so since this headset worked as I expected and left me satisfied with my purchase. Both sets that I bought, in fact! Setup is relatively easy by following instruction. Connectors come with unit for various connecting methods. One small complaint is the ear buds are made of rubber(?). Those could be less irritating after an hour or more of use if they were made of silicone, or something more pliable for extended comfort. Overall, this tv sound amplifier is an excellent product and a definite improvement to hearing quality...for one ear(like me) or both ears!

Perfect Sound
When I had my hearing tested, they said that my ability to hear clearly was really bad, and that only a Cochlear implant would really help. That involves too much for me to take on. I have tried other TV hearing phones, but nothing compares to these in volume and perfect clarity for me. You do have getused to the little bit of weight but the sound is wonderful. When I have those on, I do not miss a word .

If only they were comfortable...
I love RF wireless headphones (can walk in the other room and still hear TV, no pairing, etc) but I don't like wearing giant headphones. They aren't comfortable over time. So went looking for RF earbuds.Pros:Optical audio input (cable included)3mm AUX cable includedRCA audio cable includedPower cord with USB-to-AC adapter includedTransmitter can hold two headsetsEasy to use and setupExtra battery included so the juice never runs out (charging them in turn to keep going)Extra foam earbudsAttachable earpieces that take the weight off your ear canalsRF allows lengthy transmission, and thru wallsDecent enough sound quality (little thin and acoustic envelope is absent but for talky TV dialog is clear)Manual includedCons:The device gets a little heavy though the earpieces help with that but...The buds hurt my ear canals after 20m making it too uncomfortable to wear (tried the other buds too)But it wasn't just the buds... turning my head to the side (to pick up/put down my coffee and mess with stuff on the table next to me) was worse, as the transmitter and arms move as one (fixed), and the transmitter drags against your clothes while also creating "torsion" on the arms (with your head turned) and that dragging and torsion is transferred to your ear canals... hurting my already sore ears even moreI do have small ear canals so the bud part might not matter to some. But for me, I am constantly turning my head when I watch TV, and I watch it from a recliner with my feet up, so slightly reclined. This means the transmitter is not hanging free (like it might be when sitting up straight) but laying on my clothes at the top of my chest... so anything with a collar or bulky clothes will create a pull on your ears every time you turn your head due to that transmitter dragging across your clothes (or getting stopped by a partly zipped hoodie or whatever). But even if wearing a simple flat tee (or shirtless), turning your head while reclined still puts torsion on the arms since they don't move independently from the transmitter. You're wearing a fixed "horseshoe" that isn't made to flex in the way it needs to for turning your head when reclined.Despite it having so many Pros I had to request a return after just one hour of use, as it was clear that even if I got past the discomfort from the buds (like found another pair that worked), the fact I couldn't turn my head without it pulling on my ear canals was a deal breaker. I'm always reaching to that side table for something - even for remotes. So I ordered the Sennheiser Flex 5000 [which also uses RF] as it allows you to make any wired headphones wireless by plugging them into a little receiver you can keep on your person or place next to you. The receiver is only 1.1 oz (half the weight of the receiver on the Simolio) and has vol and bal controls. It communicates with the transmitter (also included) and has a few audio envelopes to choose from to enhance sound. The battery capacity is up to 12hrs and comes with a pair of Sennheiser earbuds, in case you prefer them over your own. This will be super handy to be able to wear my comfy wired buds, without being tethered to the TV. I don't mind at all carrying a receiver on my person as long as it's not hanging from my ear canals. This will allow me total freedom of head movement, zero pressure on my ears, and with the receiver will be able to walk into the next room and still hear the TV. And it's only about $50 more... worth it to me in the long run.But if the Simolio is comfortable for you it could be your favorite new device. Just didn't work out for me.

I can finally turn the tv down
My husband is hard of hearing in one ear and at night time keeps the tv so loud I can't hear myself think. These headphones were a life saver. I can turn the tv way down low and he can turn his headphones as high as he wants. They are light weight easy to install and even come with stereo when watching movies.

Fantastic customer support from Simolio for an excellent product.
I bought an analog Simolio headset years ago and was delighted with it. However it stopped working so I sent for a new one.It is digital and I really struggled to get it set up. However the email support from Simolio has been excellent and finally today the connection with my Sky Q box works so well. The sound quality is really good. I look forward to years of listening with this headset.Comfortable to wear. Light. I never had to replace the battery in previous headset so expect this will be the same.
