Gingerbread Baby Board book – Picture Book, September 22, 2003

It follows the journey of a little gingerbread baby who comes to life and causes all sorts of chaos. The twist at the end is unexpected and delightful, leaving you with a warm and satisfied feeling.

Loved this book as a kid. My kids loved it too. Book came in perfect condition.

This was my daughter's favorite book when she was little. Now that she has a little one I had to buy another. Such a fun, silly little book!

I bought this for my 3 year old. She is a JannBrett fan, i passed down my books to her from when i was little. The pictures are amazing and the book is so sweet ! Bought for Christmas.

A really amazing board book with very detailed illustrations that I totally adore. Combined with a very clever story of a gingerbread's adventure, is the perfect book for every child and adult. I can't stop looking at these illustrations, this book has made me really happy!

Fun book to read aloud to K-3 grade students. Many (if not all) students know all about the gingerbread man, but few have ever heard of the gingerbread baby. Many students laughed just after I read the title. Most of them thought they knew what was going to happen to him as soon as they saw the fox. But, the surprise ending had students clapping and thankful that all was well for the gingerbread baby. The happy ending makes this my new holiday go-to book for future K students.

The Gingerbread Baby is a favorite book of three of my grandchildren. It is so loved that I am asked toread it again at the end of the story. The beautiful illustrations by Jan Brett invite all people to look at itfor the rich details in its lovely layout format. An ideal addition to a young child's library. It should be considered a new classic.
