You just drop this to the hight that you need it to work at and it has a counterbalance so only requires securing at the top. Looks sturdy and has a 5 year warranty.

Nice! A heavy duty float switch at a competitive price. Better than Alderon float switches.

Product works and seem well made, however as other reviews state, the float is very sensative and turns on and off in a small about 1" range. Dont trust the diagrams and product description. The float turns off when its horizontal and turns on maybe 1" above that. This will cause your pump to burn out sooner with the higher amount of on/off cycles and I dont think it will stay on long enough to suck out the "solid" waste if you use it in a septic situation.

I hope this one lasts longer than the other cheaper ones have been. Only time will tell. It's bigger and will handle more amps but I am hoping for more durability.
