I dont mind this product, and I've noticed its gotten some pretty harsh reviews. Let me break it down.I bought this product thinking I could help with recovery and control. I was intrigued by the science behind it. And I think I hit the nail on the head here with the benefits that casein brings. As far as results, this product does great and does what I need it too!I have also heard some reviews about the consistency and taste of this product. With protein, its always hard to find a good taste and chocolate is always an excellent go to. As far as taste, its not the worst, not the best.But the product does what I need it too. Slow and consistent protein source and an excellent and healthy meal before bed. The greatest benefit of casein is that it helps keep anaerobic levels for hours after the workout (the "afterburn" effect).There is no doubt that this product does what it needs to. The science behind casein is pretty tricky, but I thought I would give it a try, and only time can tell..... As for taste, its really not all that bad. If you put enough milk in it and mix it long enough you'll get the desired consistency thats needed for this product. Its just that simple.

Great product, keeps you full at night. Not the best flavor, I recommend the cookies and cream (only reason to give it 4 stars). Take it right before going to sleep. No need to take extra amino acids since this high quality casein already have all that you need for night repair and going back to kill it at the gym the next day.Improve recovery time, and reduce soreness. Take it at night right before going to bed and take whey protein or pea protein with 2 bananas or apples right after working out and your muscle fueling needs will be achieved (don't forget eating properly and 8 hours of sleep too.)

Mixed with only water, this stuff tastes horrible, like nonfat powdered milk with a dash of Milk of Magnesia. That nasty minty Milk of Magnesia taste is almost undrinkable. The reason I'm not giving it lower than 3 stars is because it is probably the cheapest casein protein powder on the market. If you mix it with something, it's OK. I mix a scoop into my oatmeal, with a scoop of Muscle Milk added. I also like to mix a 1/2 scoop with yogurt and cottage cheese. Step up your game and get the Cytosport Casein protein powders instead.

This casein protein is ok, the taste is interesting. I've read a lot of reviews about a weird almost chemical taste, and I think that is pretty spot on. Results have been ok so far, the ingredient profile is pretty good so no complaints there. There are definitely better casein's out there.

its dosent mix as well as gold standard, just wanted to try something new since it was sale.Taste isnt that great either i got the chocolate one

I don't about other casein flavors, but this one tastes AWFUL, and it is extremely difficult to dissolve. I finished it just because I had already spent on it, but totally disliked it. Strange since I've tried almost all MP products, this one is the only I wouldn't recommend, at least this flavor.

It taste like someone emptied an ashtray into every serving. There has to be a better tasting casein protein out there.

It is effective for muscle growth and has lower sodium than many of its competitors. These are good things. That said, it is without question the most foul tasting protein powder I have ever consumed!!! It has a sharp metallic/medicinal taste that is barely drinkable. I have suffered through it by alternating with a better tasting casein, but it is not easy. Also, it does not mix well in a shaker so you must blend it. Inconvenient.
