I wouldn't put any other brand in my diesel.
Great diesel oil. It works great and has for approaching 200K miles. I wouldn't run anything else.

Ram Eco Diesel engine
Always used Mobile 1 motor oil in my automobiles. I have 188,000 miles on my car and when i took it in for a recall the mechanic couldn't believe the condition of the motor as it is still like new with 188,000 miles. So when I bought my Ram 1500 with an Eco Diesel engine I used Mobile 1 Diesel engine oil. Runs fantastic, gets better mileage than my 4 cylinder car!

The Best
Probably the best oil you can use. I used it on my turbo diesel jeep wrangler. I am happy with it all arround great product. Keeps a healthy engine, stayed clean at end of the interval and did not burn, cooling is optimal, stays true to its mileage. Perfect product.

Makes your diesel sound quiet as a gas engine
I have a 95 suburban with a 6.5 turbo diesel engine. Winters here can have some extremely cold days. With Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck oil, there's no morning too cold for it to start easy. You get immediate oil pressure and the re-assuring quiet sound of a well lubricated engine as soon as it starts, even on those -25 degree mornings. I use it year round, but I sure wouldn't trust anything else to harsh winter conditions. Makes my suburban purr like a kitten, really smooth and quiet for a diesel. When a diesel engine is as quiet as this one is, you know there's some good lubrication going on. Amazon sweetens the already good deal on two 1-gallon bottles with free shipping.

Do it yourself
You have that big F250 sitting there needing an oil change? You took it to the dealer and found out that it was going to cost you $160? Well... get back in that truck, buy this oil and a filter, and do it yourself. That F250 is made for you to work on it. It sits high enough that you don't need to lift it to drain the oil... and that filter is right on top of the engine. What could be easier. Except... well... that old oil is going to stain everything it touches. So you better wear some nasty clothing cause you will spill some oil.

My Porsche's happy.
Running this oil in my 2012 Porsche Boxster S. Good price and the 2 gallon pack delivered to my door is much easier than running all over town to see who has something I can use this month. I've done two changes, one at about 1400 miles and another at 5k. Mostly around town driving with a few interstate/highway sprints to neighboring towns, plus one epic 2400 mile, 11 day road trip with dear ol' Dad. Haven't had an oil analysis done yet, as the car only has 7100 miles, but she runs smooth as silk. I'm getting around 22 mpg around town, about the same as my BMW's, and just over 30 on the highway when driving at sub-ludicrous speeds.I read up on motor oils before settling on this one. One advantage to note is that this being an oil designed for diesel trucks, it didn't loose the additives that were purported to foul the catalytic converters as most automotive oils did. These additives were there to protect the valve train from wear. Do like the idea of keeping those, though I won't be able to report on the effectiveness until the car has 300k or more miles on it.The only drawback so far is that with the design of the gallon bottle, it's a bit difficult to poor into the car without spilling. This is more Porsche's fault than Mobil's. So if you're getting this for a 986 or 987 Porsche, do get a nice funnel, too.
