In Due Time: Hope and Encouragement in the Waiting

Powerful encouragement for waiting
I read this book on a flight to Africa. I’ve been in a long season of waiting for marriage. I highlighted verses & sentences all throughout. I then felt led to leave the book with a dear African friend who has been in a season of painful miscarriages. I was able to write a note in the book for her & leave it with her as a gift of encouragement. This book has spoken powerfully to me & I trust it will for whoever reads it!

Spending my time focusing on God instead of my problem.
I just got this book in the mail a couple days ago. A month ago I suffered my third miscarriage in 10 months. I ordered this book to help me stay focused on God these next 60 days as we begin the IVF process.I love this book so much. It reminds me that God is bigger than my miscarriages. Today it taught me about praying and believing that he will move that mountain. It suggested getting a journal before starting. I didn’t have the patience to grab a journal first and read the first two days. I am going to get a journal tomorrow and redo days 1 and 2. At the end of each day there are questions to reflect and record in a journal. I think I will get the most out of it as I reflect in a journal daily.

A vital book for those who need hope
A wonderful book that brings a renewed sense of hope. It also encourages you to become closer to the Lord, instead of being resentful or angry. She phrases things in a way that shows God’s compassion, love, and perfect timing. He’s not trying to hurt you or punish you, and you will be given all of his promises to you. I am so grateful for this book and will recommend it to anyone!

This book gives so much life!
This book gives so much life! If you are looking for something encouraging and full of truth from God's word, this is it. Everyday is simple and to the point and packed with so much love and wisdom. It helped me understood who God is in a time in my life when everything felt lonely and hopeless. It really reawakened my heart and gave me the knowledge and strength I needed to keep going. This book will bless you no matter what you are walking through. Xx

Encouraging Bible-based Devotion as You Wait on God
Awesome, manageable 60-day Bible-based devotional for those who need to hear God's promises of love, comfort, and hope as they wait on God and trust in His timing and will. Caroline Harries has made each day only one page - one verse, her encouragement, and an application/journal writing prompt. Some days I wanted to study more of God's word from the verse & other times I wrote more in my journal. The author led a book study online through FB, which was really powerful to have others respond. A women's Bible study group may like this, especially those going through infertility or difficult times when we want to ask God "Where are you?" " What are you doing" or " How long must I wait?" Just to read one verse of God's promises on a daily basis & option to go into more depth has been very encouraging to me.

Spirit Guide Devotional
By far one of the most Spirit filled book (beside my Bible , of course) I have read in a long time. Each day of the devotional brings you closer to hope as the Author has been able to share the waiting process and season with us (the readers). It has been so impacting that my husband & I started reading it together. Its hard these days to find an authors that don't water down the Word of God and effectively reminds us to go back to his promises.. because in "Due Time" they shall be manifested ... Will recommend to anyone is waiting on their promises to be fulfilled ... regardless if it's a child, healing, a home, adoption, family restoration, a spouse etc... Worth every cent..

Just what I needed
I'm only on day 3 of this and wow! This deeply speaks to me during my fertility struggle. I think because the author understands each woman's heart through her own struggle, it is very relatable and feels like just what I need. Each day is only 1.5 - 1.75 pages, so if you're pressed for time it is very doable. There is also a question each day, so if you want to spend more time thinking and praying, there's a prompt to do so. My only recommendation would be for a little more space to write in the answer to the question and journal a little bit. I'm so looking forward to the rest of this study!

I recommend this devotional.
This devotional helped me get through the hardest period in my life when my daughter was stillborn. My husband and I had been trying to conceive for 4 years and lost each one of our 3 babies. I recommend this to any mother dealing with infertility, miscarriage, or stillbirth. God is faithful and has given us a son almost exactly 1 year after the loss of our daughter. I truly believe that I needed to read this book in order to “understand” where I was wrong in my life and my view of my creator and why he had to take my babies.
