Lovely to look at but we'll test it at Thanksgiving!
The bean pot is lovely and we look forward to using it! We are retired and down to a small household, as children are grown but our cats keep us busy and they are always ready for a heart to heart:) This pot will serve well for side dishes at holiday meals -- happy! Why not 5 stars? The pot was billed as capable of use to roast a chicken,two Rock Cornish Hen perhaps, not the full-size chickens we raised and called by name. Chicken for dinner started at a Whole Foods store:) We'll use the lovely bean pot at Thanksgiving for perhaps a fragrant and creamy Tuscan white bean with herbs side dish! It is well-made and again, a beautiful addition to any sideboard.
