The fit is perfect and the slim look is an upgrade from the old baggie jean look...use is for casual wear

these jeans are my new go to. Its so hard to find a good size. Finally, something inexpensive that fits. will buy again

I've been buying Amazon essential jeans for a long while now. I was surprised how decent they were at that price point. In the half year or so the durability has been just awful. I bought three pairs in the last five weeks and all are unbearably ripped in the crotch. The jeans aren't overly tight and I'm relatively in shape so its not like I'm trying to squeeze in to them. I also work an office job with minimal stress on clothing so that's not an excuse. The last pair I wore lasted literally 1.5 days before ripping up the crotch to the zipper. This was from simply walking up a flight of stairs. Imagine being in your workplace and suddenly finding yourself with jeans so ripped, so quickly, that the underwear covering your privates is noticeably exposed. Never again. What a shame

Good value ; time will tell about durability after several washes. But they are not quite as advertised. The description indicates 1% elastase and 99% cotton. The tag inside the pants says 2% elastase and 98% cotton. Also, the dark wash I received is much darker than the photo suggests. Overall, I am pleased, but please get the facts straight Amazon.

Will probably buy more of these jeans.

The fly area ripped so quickly I thought my first pair had a manufacturing defect. But the same thing happened with a second pair. I'll stick with trusted names for jeans from now on.
