ROBERTSUNIVERSAL Carpet Seam Sealer - 8 Oz. (236 mL)

I used this to glue down a piece of carpet that was being patched. It worked perfectly. Just apply and lay something down heavy to hold in place. It says it bonds in about 10 mins. I gave it 30 mins to be safe and it looks great.

This product is strong but not rough. I use this glue to repair a snag in a threshold area. We open and close the door all the time and walk on the glued area. Has not, even slightly, come up yet.

This product works well. It's not as thick as I hoped and will run is too much is applied.Adjoining carpet pieces is tricky and should be done from the backside

my dogs pulled up some carpet and this worked great to glue it down and it has held really well 6 weeks later with lots of traffic and regular vacuuming.

I went to use the glue, and everything on the inside was completely hard. I was unable to use the glue. Very disappointed.

Dries a weird color

I bought several of these to fix my 'ladybug throw rugs' in my kitchen. The ends had started to unravel and I can't replace these rugs (they don't make them anymore). I got the glue to turn the rug upside down and seal the edges all the way around so that the edges won't unravel anymore. This glue is fabulos! Easy to work with, holds even the little tiny yarn edges tight. I'm so delighted to have this and yes, it does dry clear, so that the glue does not show at the edges of my red rugs.

I’ve been installing carpet for 25 years. I now do repairs for new construction. Do you know the carpet in these new houses is crap lol. I use this to fix delaminating carpet that is finished next to a hard surface flooring. The swifter wet jet ruins all the carpet next to kitchen and bathrooms because people wet the carpet unknowingly every time they use it couple that with high traffic area and it’s a perfect storm for delaminating. This fixes that every time.

I used the glue to carpet a sun room and it worked perfectly. Glued the carpet down well and it helped seal the seams. I would recommend this glue.

I purchased this product twice and both times the glue in the bottle was completely dried out, hard as a rock, and not usable. I contacted Roberts customer service and was told the following: "You can try your local Home Depot, to make sure you are getting a good bottle." The delay and trouble with two defective bottles of glue was a real setback for my project.

Used it to rejoin a woven carpet. Glue holds very well, is ok to work with, and by and large transparent. Need to be careful to not apply to thick. Pressure applied to joints must be over night. I used wax paper to ensure glue did not stick to weights.

Arrived rock hard, completely dried out/cured. Amazon suggested contact manufacturer first, but they were no help, said it was Amazon’s problem. No issues returning it, but a waste of time.
