Gustaf's Classic Double Salt Dutch Licorice, 5.2 oz Bags in a BlackTie Box (Pack of 3)

I'll be honest with this one I actually really didn't like the product....but that's in no way Penguins or even Gustaf's fault. The Licorice arrived in date which I was worried reading some of the reviews on imported candy. It was soft as well unexpected of something that had to cross the Atlantic... But that salt though...So, for the curious strange candy people out there it's not like "salt" salty it's a weird chemically salty which I really didn't care for. I mean it isn't terrible I just feel it overpowers what is probably good licorice. Anyhow It gets 5 stars because it was packaged amazingly! Really whole box was wrapped in a air pocket protector and an addition air pocket was inside the box to keep the packages from shifting. In all I would definitely consider another Penguin gift box when my strange desires to try things I know nothing about crops up again.

I searched for licorice coins like I'd had before. Didn't notice the package says double salt. These are inedible. Might as well eat a tablespoon of salt. Tastes the same. Unfortunately non returnable. Don't recommend. At all

This stuff is fantastic! Definitely an acquired taste. Probably not a candy kids would like.

I am a muslim person and have to make sure that there is no pork or derivatives in what i am buying.Your picture of ingredients is not same as what your package shows for current deliveries and I ate couple of them until i realised it contains gelatin from pork.I am so furios and upset as you are lying when you are selling your item.Please correct your description asap

If you haven't had this be forewarned, it is salty,. I absolutely love it, but it is, I know, an acquired taste. I definitely acquired the taste and this is the best DZ licorice I have found. Thank you for offering it. Love love it.
