Does Banatrol control diarrhea caused by lactose intolerance?

Banatrol Plus can assist with supporting challenges related to loose stool and diarrhea from a variety of conditions. It is important to understand the origin of your diarrhea for best outcomes. Banatrol Plus contains a small amount of lactose naturally from the galactooligosaccharide which may or may not be well tolerated depending upon the severity of your intolerance(.27gm per serving) Typically patients with lactose intolerance may tolerate up to 15 grams of lactose per day. These levels will vary from patient to patient. While Banatrol Plus may assist in improving stool output, avoidance of the food that causes the intolerance would be a good first line of defense. -Medtrition Customer Service
