Back in January, I bought this holster for my Beretta 92FS (9mm - not sure why the product title says .40 SW). From the moment I took it out of the package, I knew it was a quality product. It is real, genuine leather that has definitely been made with care.After 5 months of moderate use, I could not be happier with it. It fits my Beretta like a glove (after all, it was made for it!) nice and tight. At first it seemed almost too tight and almost too stiff, but that is natural for leather. Before too long, it broke in well and now provides a smooth draw.Despite the smooth draw, the retention is incredible! I have sprinted full speed and done jumping jacks like crazy, and still the pistol does not fall out. Since there is no retention flap, I wouldn't want to hang upside down with this holster - but that's not what it was made for. If you want to scale a fence or run an obstacle course, I recommend the Bianchi M12 or a MOLLE drop-leg. However for casual open carry or concealed carry under a suit jacket, this holster is perfect.And what a great price! This holster is a steal at only $25. Where else will you get a well-built, durable, genuine leather, made-in-America holster for such a bargain price? I certainly haven't found any.Would definitely buy again.

On most shooting outings my Beretta 92FS stayed on the night stand. Not anymore... This holster fits my Beretta 92FS like a glove. The leather thickness is just right, not so thick that it can't mold to the shape of the gun or so thin that it can't hold the shape. The stitching is strong and the overall fit and finish is excellent. In most run and gun drills this holster would work... but if you are going to be jumping fences and doing summer saults then you might want have a saddle maker add a snap strap for security. Bottom line, I'd buy this holster again without hesitation.

Works very well, durable, and looks good. I never had any issues with myPistol sliding out unexpectedly. Used for 6 months during combat patrols in Afghanistan.
