The Power of a Praying Parent Prayer and Study Guide

These prayers are more for children and teens, however, I borrowed the book from a family member and I still pray them for my kids and ad lib as needed. Also using it to pray over my grandson.

I enjoy reading books from Stormie Omartian. I have read: “The Power Of A Praying Wife” and have recently purchased the same style book for my husband, “The Power Of A Praying Husband.” I was ecstatic to purchase the same style book for my children (I have 4). However, this prayer and study guide book is solely a study guide as shown in the image above. With that being said, I will have to purchase the prayer book separately. For those who assume this book has both the prayer and study guide are incorrect. This book is solely the study guide. Sadly, I will have to make a purchase of the other book when the time permits. Overall, these books are powerful spiritually for when needing help on praying for your family in different areas of their lives.

This study guide is excellent. It helps you understand and grow as a parent. It's necessary to have to book when you buy the study guide. It's good for self-taught Bible study, but not great for a group Bible study. Great book for growing as a parent even when you think you're doing a great job parenting.

I have read a number of Stormie Omartian's books and I've never been disappointed.I've prayed for my children over the years but there are so many things I've never considered or thought of. If anyone is wanting to learn to pray or strengthen their prayer life this is a must read.There is power in prayer and never do I feel closer to God than when I'm praying daily. The study guide is a great tool to further your growth.Well worth the money!

I got this as a gift and I really love it. You need the book "The Power of a Praying Parent" to go with it. I'm not finished with it yet, but I think it's a great tool for getting deeper into your faith. I think that reading and using this study guide can really help you when you feel helpless as a parent. Prayer is one of the greatest gifts we can give our children. I highly recommend it.
