Wanted an adjustable unobtrusive, eclectic yet modern profiled, and flexible LED reading lamp for our family room area. Got the white colored lamp and it blends into our decor just perfect. When not being used it's hardly visible and almost disappears into the wall color. Really like the optional lighting scenarios and it's plenty bright when you need it yet can be adjusted lower if need be. The lamp is not heavy at all with a flexible small stand but sturdy. Easy to assemble and so far I'm delighted.

What's not to love about this lamp? Packaging was sturdy, secure and easy to open. No part touched another so no posse way to be damaged in shipping. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. Setup took 15 minutes or less. Like other people mentioned, the lamp is a little tall but sitting by my reading chair it's totally adjustable and does not graze my hair. The on/off and dimming switches are easily accessable and work smoothly without effort, just slide finger or thumb to get power on and various brightness.My old Ottlight lasted many years and I was always happy with it. It was also held together with black tape and the light was getting dimmer. I shopped comparing features and prices quite a while and am glad I made this choice. The PHIVE company created a real quality engineered reading floor lamp.

This lamp is dependable. I have used it just about daily for over 3 years, with zero problems or complaints. It is light in weight but very stable on the floor. Works exactly as described, and gives more than enough light for reading. Light level and color temperature are easily adjusted.

This is really a pretty neat versatile, cool to the touch light. The controls are really easy and offer more then enough choice for reading, added light, accent lighting or any type of lighting you would use for a floor lamp. I also like the style and it by no means looks cheap, plus it is quite sturdy. How those who have purchased this did not realize that you can easily adjust the height of this lamp during assembly is beyond me. This lamp has 4 sections one of them of course being the flexible part. The other 3 sections are 12 inches each and straight. You can choose to simply leave out one of those sections in order to shorten the height of this lamp. You will have to feed the inside wire up into one of the sections to make it also shorter BUT being the sections are hollow it is easily done.

This lamp is perfect for reading piano music scores on my digital piano. The light is all I need for an intimate playing experience. I like that the pole comes out of the back of the base so I could set it behind the piano and still keep the piano close to the wall. Almost all other lamps like this have the pole coming out of the center of the base. The touch controls are well made and easy to use. The type of light and brightness selections allow one to add so much to the lighting ambience at various times of the day or evening. I had this lamp in my cart for eight months and should have bought it eight months ago!

I love the versatility or the goose neck being aimed in so many directions that you can acquire almost any room ambiance you desire. I have a dislike of the ‘bright white’ glaring lights as, for me, seem to provide a “cold or cool’ feeling but there is two warm settings out of 20 possible settings that is so awesome.We have raised our bedroom floor where our king size bed and a tower on either side fit snug, customized looking but no room for reading or writing lamp. There are little led lights that light up for a book shelf above the head board but are impractical for anything else. This light is so minimal in design that it can be placed beside my tower and still looks well placed with warm lighting and class.I’m thinking about buying another one for other side of bed.Also, it arrived well packaged and very easy to assemble, under 10 minutes and the base is heavy. The lamp seems to lean a little and my husband said the floor is level because when he built the rise he was very careful of the floor being level and square. I plan to move it to different locations to check if it leans in other places and will update this review. Lightning, in general, is expensive but I purchased this lamp during a lightning deal, no pun intended, and saved 20%. I highly recommend this lamp; you won’t be disappointed. I read a couple of reviews who buyers have found a line in the base. My base is good!

The metal parts of this lamp are sturdy and well made. However, the top section of the lamp, where the LEDs and controls are located, is made of plastic, as are the threads that attach the top section to the metal post. You have to be very deliberate and slow when attaching these two pieces, otherwise, the plastic threads will become crooked without you noticing it, and they can become damaged by the metal threads of the post. Hard to explain, but when you buy this lamp, just be aware of the places where plastic and metal come together. Also, the connection of the lamp and post into the base isn't the most secure, even after tightening with the included allen wrench. I find that it wobbles a bit. However, once together, it's easy to control and it has plenty of function, including a choice between warm and cool light. We're using it to light a piano's keyboard, and it's quite satisfactory.

Read the reviews, and the lamp lives up to the stellar reviews of 1) ease of assembly, use, portability; 2) quality of light and various types of light; 3) versatility for different uses. I use the lamp primarily to illuminate my computer monitor (and desk) and also for my beading/jewelry-making table. I like that I can change the light intensity, color, and direction easily. I really like that the pole is not so thick that it can ft into a small space. I have it wedged between my table and wall, and the base is not so bulking that it interferes at all with my leg room. I would definitely recommend it, and will probably get second one for upstairs office use.

The lamps are sturdy in construction. The controls need only a very light brushover and provide a range of settings. This does take a while to get used to, but once mastered are really good.
